Liverpool 2 Everton 1
Manchester United 2 Derby 0

Virgil Van Dijk's 84th minute header,on his debut, proved to be the winner in the Merseyside derby.Milner put Liverpool ahead in the 35th minute with a penalty after Holgate manhandled Lallana.Maybe a bit of a soft penalty but Holgate was daft for holding onto Lallana.Holgate may be in bigger trouble with the FA for pushing Firmino over an advertising hoarding later in the game which sparked an angry exchange.Sigurdsson equalized for Everton midway through the second half but it proved not to be enough.
Rooney was booked in the first 10 minutes and maybe a tad lucky still to be on the pitch before he was substituted early in the second half.
Everton did play a lot better than they did at Anfield a few weeks ago but they are still crying out for a class striker.

Two late goals from Lingard and Lukaku was enough to see off a spirited Derby side at Old Trafford.

Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Hope for Everton's sake they can edit all the cr*p out like they do on you tube

Certainly looks as if he's the TYPE of player that will thrive in Prem, although saying that so did Mitro when the toon signed him, and he never ever gets on as a sub now.

Inside a modern 18-yard box, the gentlest of embraces is sufficient to see strong, beautifully balanced athletes collapse to the floor like puppets with their strings cut.

After Liverpool’s gripes about Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s tumble last month, this time Liverpool were the beneficiaries of the modern “entitlement” to go down.

This from The Liverpool " Red Echo " Re; Last Nights Dubious Penalty awarded to Liverpool...

Do you expect them to leave the screen blank for the next 2 1/4 hrs BEFORE kick off then?

They probably think they will get more viewers for a Thai soap opera than the test card

As previously stated you can watch Fulham v Soton or Man City v Burnley on live stream

Tonights match on Channel 7 is Nottingham Forest v Arsenal which kicks off at 11pm here in Thailand.Nong Khai times will be the same as the rest of the country (NKT). :badteeth:
Monday nights match in the UK is Brighton v Crystal Palace at 7.45pm which equates to 02.45am Tuesday morning Thai on Channel 7.
Kick off time will be the same for this game in Nong Khai, also. :badteeth:

I think it may have something to do with the fact that all Nong Khai clocks run on electricity, thus they are never showing the same time as the rest of Thailand

Bit of sympathy zid, as it must have been about 5am Sat morning before lights out in the Everton suburbs of Nong Khai

Not sure if it's worth the effort, but

Live stream Shrewsbury Town v West Ham 21:00 Thai & NK time (especially for Vince  ) http://www.ronaldo7.net/video/bundeslig ... tream.html

Live stream of Spuds v Wimbledon 22:00 Thai & NK Time http://www.ronaldo7.net/video/mancheste ... tream.html

I do think that Alan has possibly lost a bit of confidence after the debacle over his 2018 calendar and currently doesn't know what day it is,never mind the time ! :D

Anyway,in the FA Cup shocks were provided by Peterborough,Notts County,MK Dons,Yeovil and Coventry.....the last of which cost Stoke manager,Mark Hughes, his job not surprisingly.
Creditable draws were earned by Fleetwood,Wigan,Mansfield,Carlisle,Stevenage and Norwich.

Some good results for the smaller teams yesterday. Coventry beating Stoke, I was happy about that.

Not really the right thread for that 747, but it looks like excellent business to me.
Bought for £8.5m sold for £142m.
Midfield players were hardly something Pool lacked, but they bought Salah, Oxlade-Chamberlain & Naby Keita before they allowed this to happen..
Plus, the real thing they needed to do in order to progress, they also have spent a shed load on Virgil van Dijk. Maybe overspent, but they knew the money was coming back..
