Another DONE DEAL .......... or perhaps not
EVERTON DENY DEAL
AC Milan might have claimed they have signed Gerard Deulofeu on loan, but Everton are saying no deal has been done.
Everton officials are understood to furious at the announcement as they do not believe negotiations have reached a conclusion.

Re: Football Rumours Mark 2
It Doesn't MATA What Milan Say......Everton insist no deal has yet been agreed for Gerard Deulofeu - despite AC Milan announcing they had signed the winger on loan until the end of the season.
Milan declared this evening on their official Twitter account that the Spanish winger would spend the rest of the campaign at the San Siro.
However, Blues officials are understood to be furious at the announcement and are adamant they are yet to reach an agreement with the Serie A side.
Milan later deleted the tweet indicating Deulofeu had signed.
Negotiations have been ongoing for the past 10 days between the two clubs, with Everton having already rejected one loan bid by Milan.

OK so it's from the "currant bun" but it sounds crazy enough to be true
"Pep Guardiola will sensationally let Sergio Aguero leave Manchester City following secret showdown talks at a restaurant, and the striker could join Chelsea. "

10,000 pints a minute, heated seats. Surely the first makes the latter unnecessary? A glass-walled tunnel? So you can enjoy the players clearing their throats and adjusting their tackle, as you enjoy your prawn sandwich.stattointhailand wrote:Have I lived in Thailand long enough to change my footie team please?

Re: Football Rumours Mark 2
Had to have a little smile when I read the last line of this bit from Sky ....
WBA LATEST
West Bromwich Albion's interest in Watford striker Odion Ighalo has cooled, according to Sky Sources, and Tony Pulis is instead turning his attentions to other targets.
When negotiation with Stoke stalled last week over the transfer of Saido Berahino, we've been told Albion did consider the option of a swap deal with Ighalo. But now that Berahino has gone, Pulis has decided against a separate deal for the Watford striker.
Pulis does have money to spend, despite shelling out £10m on Hull midfielder Jake Livermore. He's now deciding whether a striker or a defender is his biggest priority in this window.
Hmmm this is Tony Pulis they are talking about .......
Played 22 games 32 Pts, so 8 more 0 - 0 draws from the last 16 games will get to the magic 40 pts ......... bet he doesn't even know what "strikers" are available

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38761572Serie A strugglers Palermo make 11th coaching change in two seasons
Mmm can't understand at all what could be behind their struggles... just unlucky, I guess..Struggling Serie A side Palermo have made their 11th coaching change in two seasons by hiring Uruguayan Diego Lopez.
The 42-year-old, the former coach of Cagliari and Bologna, replaces Eugenio Corini, who resigned on Tuesday.
The Sicilian side have only managed two wins in 21 matches and are one point above last-place Pescara in Serie A.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has overseen about 60 coaching changes in 30 years as a club owner.
Last season alone, there were eight changes and this campaign there have been a further three replacements.

from Sky ...
TRANSFER FAILINGS BAFFLE KARANKA
Aitor Karanka says he's not sure why Middlesbrough have missed out on their key targets this transfer window.
Boro have failed in their bids to bring Robert Snodgrass, Jese Rodriguez and Bojan to the Riverside Stadium.
One can only assume he didn't do an awful lot of research before taking the managers job there ......... I'd imagine there are about 60m people in UK that could tell him :-"
Now If he tried to get one of Scunthorpe's targets at least he would stand a 50/50 chance of them choosing Boro

Just some snippets of news before I depart for the sun kissed beaches of Khon Kaen for the weekend.......
Ian Wright says Arsene Wenger has told him he is "coming to the end" of his tenure at Arsenal.
Rangers say they they have accepted the resignation of manager,Mark Warburton, but he says he has not resigned.
Liverpool have banned The Suns journalists from its grounds over the newspapers coverage of the Hillsborough disaster.

Personally I think that he has done all he can at the club & it is time for a new approach.
However I think that the sensible approach would be to offer him an 'overseeing' role over a new, young manager to give the new man chance to bed in - unlike the mess that happened at United once Sir A left..
Eddie Howe, anybody???
Interesting piece from him.. especially this...Arsene Wenger: Arsenal boss says he will manage next season
Sounds a bit to me like a warning shot across the owners bows to me..Arsene Wenger says he will definitely be managing next season, whether at Arsenal "or somewhere else".

Re: Football Rumours Mark 2
Would certainly be interesting to see what Eddie Howe could do with a more talented squad. Then again I though the same about David Moyes. I think United should have made the transition more slowly.BobHelm wrote:http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39001868Interesting piece from him.. especially this...Arsene Wenger: Arsenal boss says he will manage next seasonSounds a bit to me like a warning shot across the owners bows to me..Arsene Wenger says he will definitely be managing next season, whether at Arsenal "or somewhere else".
