RAFA: I DON'T KNOW MY BUDGET
Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez says he still does not know his budget for the January transfer window, despite having already held a meeting with the club's hierarchy.
The Spaniard held discussions with managing director Lee Charnley in December over potential targets, and said before Christmas he wanted his squad for the remainder of the season in place by January 20.

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley underwent a medical at Chelsea’s training ground in Cobham on Thursday night and his move to the Premier League champions could be confirmed later today, SSN understands.
We understand the player and his representatives are at Stamford Bridge at present, finalising a deal.
Looks a snip at 15m with the current level of fees. Bit concerned that Chelski are looking for cheap options like Barkley & Big Andy C ...... does this mean the Abramarobles have run out ??

More bad news for Newcastle fans as they are linked with Joe Hart......

Only a stop gap till we can get Rob Green on a "free" in the Summer .....
It's part of RAFA's theory ....... if you put a sh*te keeper between the posts, the defenders HAVE to defend

MOURA TO UNITED?
PSG forward Lucas Moura would only consider a move away from the club this month to join Manchester United, reports Telefoot.
Moura has managed only 72 minutes of league action this term but still plans to stay at PSG until the end of the season.
LaLiga sides Real Betis and Malaga are both keen on recruiting him, but they are set for disappointment as Telefoot reports that Manchester United are the only club he would consider joining this month.
Makes sense really when you think about it He may as well sit on the bench in Paris as anywhere else, and Man U have got such a sh*te forward line he'd probably be first choice there

"Manchester United are weighing up a £13m deal for PSG's Brazilian winger Lucas Moura, whose representatives are pushing to get him a move to a top-four Premier League club". (The Independent)
Rumours that Man Utd representatives are confident they can persuade him to go to Old Trafford instead of a "top four" club.

ALLARDYCE: WE MUST TRIM SQUAD
Sounds like it could be a busy month at Everton. As well as Theo Walcott potentially arriving, Sam Allardyce has said: "It's essential we trim the squad if we're to bring more players in to adjust the balance of the squad and adjust the numbers.
"We'd be open to offers for a number of our players. We've had a number of enquiries but none of those enquiries have hit where our valuation might be."
And THAT explains why Everton have paid over the odds for so many players lately ......... their idea of what a player is worth doesn't match up with everyone elses idea (except PSG may be )

I Do think he could be a DECENT Addition to the squad....IF he can " Stay Uninjured & Fit ".....But Find his predicted Wages a bit too high at 140k A Week..... :-"

Those sort of wages do seem a bit excessive with his goalscoring ratio of 0.27 goals per game (over 395 matches) meaning he is likely to score a whopping THREE goals between now and the end of the season747man wrote: ↑January 12, 2018, 6:00 pmEverton currently negotiating the transfer of Theo Walcott from Arsenal......reaction from 747man later.

Re: Football Rumours Mark 2
Oooh,I say.....I think he'd be an excellent signing for United as he can play either central striker or out wide.....two areas that United are lacking.
Manchester City are prepared to walk away from a move to sign Alexis Sánchez after balking at the financial demands of the deal, even though that could pave the way for the Arsenal striker to join rivals Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho, the United manager, refused to rule out a move for Sánchez on Friday night, describing him as a “phenomenal” footballer and claiming it was difficult to turn down the chance to sign players of that calibre when they became available.
Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, admitted for the first time on Friday that Sánchez would not extend his contract, which expires at the end of the season, and United have now emerged as a serious buyers for the player.
Heres a pic of Alexis with his girlfriend,Laia Grassi

1.Klassen who cost a reported 27.5m from Ajax in the summer.....he's hardly featured.I've never seen him play. They wont recoup much money for him unless he goes out on loan and does well.
2.Niasse who cost 13m a couple of years ago.....a hard working striker but his overall play is limited. That said,he's scored 6 goals for The Toffees this season.Could be prolific in the Championship and a good bet for bigger clubs like Leeds or Forest hoping to regain the Promised Land.
3.Sandro a striker who only cost 5m from Malaga in the summer. If no-one is prepared to offer anything near that for him then he could end up at Cheltenham or Macclesfield !

'ARSENAL OPTIMISTIC ON AUBAMEYANG'
Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has provided an update on Pierre-Emeick Aubameyang's potential move to Arsenal.
“Arsenal have a few signings they want to confirm in the next few days. One of them they want to close and finalise is Aubameyang. They are willing to pay 60m euros. So they hope Dortmund accepts, and are very optimistic that this could be the case.
“It would take perhaps longer than Alexis, but they’re putting all of their eggs in that basket. They think he would be a perfect replacement to Alexis, and would work really well with Lacazette.
“I think the Alexis situation will be resolved beforehand, and when people realise the cost of Aubameyang, you wonder if many other clubs will go into the auction.
“Aubameyang wants a deal, Arsenal want a deal, we’ll have to see what Dortmund say about it. It won’t be the only signing Arsenal make, as they are after two more signings to strengthen this month to reinforce the side. As we saw at the weekend, they need it.”
Are Arsenal completely off their tiny little heads ???
They are just about to get shot of one of the biggest "bad eggs" in the dressing room, and are about to replace him with another out of control dipstick

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42710412Newcastle United: Mike Ashley ends takeover talks with Amanda Staveley
Bad news for any Newcastle fans.
Seems that they offered £250m, he wants more in the region of £300m.
Report says that if they are relegated (which looks far more likely if they don't get an injection of cash for January transfers) then the valuation of the club will slump to £100m.
Crazy, but then he always has been...
