Udon Map is the only site where we have problems. All other sites load/open quickly. We have three computers in the house and the same problem occurs on all of them. Many times I have just given up trying to log in to UM and go on to something else.

Been getting the exact same thing as above for a couple weeks now, off and on and only this site. Last night started again from about 2100 until about 0500 this AM. Gave up trying around 0700. Tried again about an hour later, same thing. Finally on now, but dragging.

Reminds a bit when I used to have 3BB (and also many problems).

Funny how some of these issues disappear when they start work Monday morning...

I was having the same problems this morning, fortunately it seems to have cleared itself now. I sent a pm to the host this morning but they couldn't see anything wrong and could browse the website without any problems.

I agree with Jed that this is looking more like a ISP related problem since I am using 3BB also, members using other ISP's or ISP's outside Udon don't seem to be experiencing the same problems.

Anyway fingers crossed this doesn't happen again, and thanks to everyone for the feedback, every little piece of info is very useful.

OT's not had a problem in the slightest. Always a fast connection to UM using a local network 3g dongle, google chrome and Windows 7 and located in E. Africa. And no problems using the same thing in the UK 2 weeks ago.

What makes you say that? It's obviously a problem that's affecting some people, but not all. I'm sure that Lee is happy to know that his customer base in E. Africa can log on without problems........
But it may be worthwhile asking all those who do have problem to identify their isp.

Don't know what package you guys who has 3BB as your ISP use, but the premier package should be giving you better access too the international network nodes. Maby someone who has primier can confirm if this is true?

I am located in Southern California, USA and also have experienced a few problems with error messages and slow response. The error messages were received a few days ago (same as has already been posted here) and none since, the slowness appears to be an on and off type thing... not real bad right now but still slow compared to other sites. I did three traces within the last 15 minutes which you may find interesting. Response appears to degrade upon entering tinet.net. This may or may not be useful to you.

Looks too me like bad balancing from the liquidweb's side. Poorly configure network is the likliest reason or the admins sit and download porn torrent.

The Udon Map site is now working much better than last week. Quicker to open and when changing topics. It seems to be about as quick as it was prior to the recent problems. It continues however the slowest of all sites that I use. Every other site I visit opens and closes much faster than UM, but I've grown accustom to that and expect it. Something I can live with and just somewhat slower than the rest.

Yep dreadful again this afternoon. Timing out, logging in, changing topics , trying to post . Keep getting Internal sever error and 404 notice.

That's good to hear Gary. Bob's correct, I moved UdonMap over to a brand new server which is more up-to-date and has more resources available to it. The old server was getting very sluggish, especially since the website gets a lot of traffic flowing through it these days.

I'm seeing a big difference in opening and navigating Udon Map. UM's speed is now on par with other sites that I use regularly. No more frustration moving from topic to topic and logging in or out. Thanks Lee!
