Readers may remember that last weekend I sympathized with the fans of Fort William of the Highland League for their long 120 mile journey home after they had been thrashed by Brora 16-0.
It turns out that Fort William are having a shocking time of it,gaining just 1 point from their first 17 league matches and scoring 14 and conceding 95 :oops: .....that's more than 5 goals a game conceded,similar to Everton before Sam Allardyce arrived ! ;)
Their opponents tomorrow are Strathspey Thistle who are also having a bit of a "mixed season" :-s winning 1 and losing 18 of their first 19 league matches.They have scored just 10 goals and conceded 80 :oops: That's a goal difference of minus 70,worse than Crystal Palace when they lost their first 7 Premiership games ! :D
So,who is likely to triumph in this 6 pointer tomorrow ? Losing to a team that has just been beaten 16-0 is unthinkable but could happen......Strathspey do have ground advantage,though,and I reckon it will end up a 1-1 draw.....we'll see :-k
Just when I thought our chance had passed,you go and save the best for last.

Special mention to Blunderland on the auspicious occasion of them gaining their first home win in ONE DAY short of a year (364 days) =D> =D> =D>

or you might think this is the ONLY weekend of the year that they ever win :-k

17 Dec 2016 Blunderland 1 - 0 Watford
16 Dec 2017 Blunderland 1 - 0 Fulham

Hearts 4 Celtic 0 :shock: in the SPL....Celtics domestic 69 game unbeaten run comes to an end....Hearts the first Scottish opponents to beat them since May 2016.

If that doesn't sum up the dire state of Scottish football then nothing does ......... a team that gets smashed to pieces in European comp manages to go 69 games unbeaten domestically =;

Powers to be North of the Border have a lot to answer for, as it was them, and only them that made the decisions that left just ONE team in their leagues with no competition [-X

Celtic have a chance to redeem themselves this week when they are at home to the Carriers Arms, but then they face a tricky looking game away to the Rose and Crown. 8-[ 8-[

A spokesperson for BetJose online bookies said .....

"We asked 92 managers if they wanted to win the leag/mil/Littlew/Rumbl/coca c/carli/Worthi/Capit/EFL/CARABAO Cup?"

Our survey said .........BeeBurp

"91 said why the f*** would we want to have more fixtures when all we do is complain about players being worn out, and Jose said yes please, so we made them favorites"

looking at LUFC's fixtures of the festive season, starting with home match against Hull today, then away to Burton and Birmingham, and then at home to Nottingham Forest before the break for the FA cup.
I'm looking for 12 points, should put us very nicely back in the play off zone. \:D/
