International cricket in Udon ....
Hello,
My brother and I are going to Udon Thani in June this year and were wondering if there will be any cricket games on in Udon Thani then? We are from Australia and my brother is a keen cricketer.
Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers,

We play all year round every Saturday starting at 2.30pm during the cool season and 3.30 during the hot season. We play with a tennis ball on a very small playing area. Hope to see you in June.

Are you still using the piece of wood as a bat?
last time i played was when pop(RIP) was stil playing, and i nearly smashed a window by hitting a 6.
had heaps of fun, and even after the cricket getting together and having some drinks with al the guys.

Unfortunately it is my sad duty to report that the weekly cricket game is no more. This is due in part to a lack of players, but also there is some construction going on where we play.
We do still have some room there, though, and now we are playing petanque. Currently 10-12 players of various nationalities participate, but anyone else is most welcome. Saturdays, three o'clock, Sookasem (map on first page of this thread).
