Mandatory pat down searches at football stadiums

Post by BKKSTAN » October 20, 2006, 11:09 am

 I watching the news on the TV about a history teacher that is taking a stand against mandatory pat down searches to enter a football stadium.
He has engaged The American Civil Liberties Union(ACLU)to file suit against the NFL for violation of the 4th admendment to the USA constituition!

There have been two stadiums plans found on Al Queda computers in Afghanistan and intelligence reports lately about possible dirty bomb attacks on football stadiums!

My position on this ,is the security for the Thousands outweighs the individual right during these threatening times. We need to guard our freedoms ,but IMO this is ridiculous.Common sense should come into play somewhere!

Do you think it is reasonable to take these precautions or unreasonable?
