but it may also be a serious issue. Up to you whether you read it or not.
Ya gotta be joking! Sure it is an open forum BUT some simple common sense should be shown, The whole thread needs to be deleted!

AND I'm sorry for seeing a stupid OP and voicing an opinion.

Then delete Euro soccer threads, too. That has nothing to do with Udon either. :D

Don't read threads that don't interest you. I don't, and I also don't bother the ones who enjoy their conversations about topics that don't interest me. It's really quite simple. :D

I'm not American but my dime's worth - Lincoln (my favourite US President) and Nixon (my least favourite) were more divisive Presidents than Obama and Bush. I don't think being "divisive" is necessarily bad. I can't see Michelle becoming President, but like Parrot, I think Hillary may one day take the big prize.

As a foreigner I think the big issue in the US now is how the little guy is screwed. Your democracy (and others) have been captured by big money and the everyday American Joe is in big trouble. In my opinion everyday Joe's future in the US is quite bleak. Social mobility in the US is shrinking. It's now a very class ridden society (i.e. not a meritocracy). If daddy went to Harvard, your future prospects are great; if he's in the big house, the future is probably appalling. I can't see any US President in the short term fixing this. Michelle, like Barack, won't.

Jeez, in 50 years, economic migrants might be moving from the US to Thailand to try and make a better life.

Personally I find Michelle Obama quite cute. She's intelligent and has a good personality but far too nice to run for the Presidency !
But I do think Hilary Clinton might run in the next election and could even win.

Zidane, I have to ask. What specifically do you find cute?

And as far as the next election, it's way too early to get excited about anyone. Midterm elections for Congress will be in 2014. That is much more important at this point.

If Mrs. Obama is running, the U.S. might as well let that cook run for President who lost her TV job over something she said that was not uncommon a number of years ago. Michelle would probably die to eat the food she dishes up too. They could be running mates. 555+

From Wp:

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama (born January 17, 1964), an American lawyer and writer, is the wife of the 44th and current President of the United States, Barack Obama, and the first African-American First Lady of the United States. Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Obama attended Princeton University and Harvard Law School before returning to Chicago to work at the law firm Sidley Austin, where she met her future husband. Subsequently, she worked as part of the staff of Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley, and for the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Throughout 2007 and 2008, she helped campaign for her husband's presidential bid. She delivered a keynote address at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and also spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. She is the mother of daughters Malia and Sasha. As the wife of a Senator, and later the First Lady, she has become a fashion icon and role model for women, and an advocate for poverty awareness, nutrition, and healthy eating.

Seems like the right would support Michelle as the Democratic nominee... They seem to fear Hillary quite a bit. If Michelle, early on, had some public support for running, it would serve to divide the party...

If she did run, her response to being heckled, would be played over and over.

Neither one of these two would be on my 'Wow' list, but they could be on an 'okay if nothing else is available, and they would accept me list'. 555+

Still pretty general. When I find people attractive, I can usually highlight specific things; but I understand why it's difficult to be specific in her case.

However, neither attractiveness or unattractiveness qualifies her for much of anything. She's not even qualified to be telling school children what to eat or to participate in the creation of a menu, but there are enough Ozombies now to get her elected -- just like they elected her husband without any background to hold the job.
