Ohh yeah...lets not forget about the 'Cowboy' night celebrating Christmas @ the UDAN a month ago.(with free hat, 200baht entry).

Another point about an Indian (Rest) is for me it would have to have good quality meat like Lamb (and not mutton, or a tough bit of cheaper Lamb),I don't go overboard on Chicken in a Indian curry, as Lamb imo is a better option, with that though would come cost...also the finest Naan Breads have to be taken into account.

If they were British style "cowboys", not only would they tell you how much, they would also make it, sell it, make a hefty profit on it, and be gone by the time it broke down :fryingpan:

I've been told there were thousands a few years back, then the first Aussies arrived from Patters, and the sheep all left

There was an Indian Restaurant in the last Udon Map published edition but unfortunately I cannot find my copy. It is situated a few yards from the Thai Tourist Police Office and as far as I recall this was their first advert in the magazine. Went there twice this week around lunchtime (opens at 1030 am according to the advertisement) and the shutters were down. A call was made to the number provided - no reply. Does anyone know or been to this establishment or know if it is permanently closed?

Mahsabi. Apparently it's open some days and not others, -- they're looking to relocate to UD Town. Sorry, but this is all I have.

Thank you. Maybe if they relocate to a busier spot they will open more regularly or maybe they could advertise what days and times they open because the advert times shown are misleading and inconvenient if you are travelling some distance.

Pomps, a call was made to the Restaurant by one of Casper's staff. Allegedly, she was told that the existing place will reopen next month. When? the 1st, 15th, 30th. Who knows maybe a slight problem in communication. After about 8km of hacking through the rough on Tuesday we intend going there but will call them first to ensure they are open. Will subsequently post the result on here.

Yes been there and enjoyed Gary. Hoping to try a place that maybe, maybe concentrates solely on Indian food. I will update here if I do manage to have a meal there.
