please do not refer me to AA insurance, tried them already.
TIA
You might like to know about the one I have managed to get then .. Its from Bangkok Bank and is only available to account holders. It's called Senior Accident and is open to all from 50 up to 100 years. They guarantee you coverage providing the premiums are paid, up to your 100th birthday .It cost's just 5080bht per annum. Can't go into full details here but it is for accident claims only, including riding a motorbike (at a 100yrs? )It has a death benefit of 600,000bht and covers hospital and accomodation fees .No medical required, just take your bank book, passport and Tabien Bahn, yours or wifes .Easy as that. \:D/
Thanks TB, I posted my results here: http://www.udonmap.com/udonthaniforum/p ... ml#p349210
I have to change my previous statement to dissatisfaction now, my policy was cancelled without notice, I thought I had PA insurance but had none. I was not notified by Squires or Roong about this. I had made a call about a question I had and was told to come and get a refund check.

Seems like the only insurance I had was the buddha amulet around my neck

I can not recommend Squires or Roong
I would confirm the policy from Bangkok Bank is still available to all 50-100 years young.Try them, any branch.

Ageing is a privilige denied to many .

Not sure if this helps, but saw a sign on the side road stating that BUPA now has an office in Big C Nadee (near airport).

Here is the 2nd pain in the azz caused by squires and roong:

the check I was issued can not be cashed by TMB Udonthani bank, cashing this check caused me to try to deal with the primitive and bass ackwards Thai banking system

I will try to see if it can be deposited at my bank, all I want is my godammed money back without any hoops

one of the real pissers was I thought I had PA coverage for the last 2 months, and I was not notified about the cancellation

Think twice about dealing with roong and squires

You can get PA insurance from the insurance companies in Udon too. Like AIA or Allianz/Ayudhya.
Quite standardised. You combine insurance against loss of life with insurance against medical care after accidents´.
Typical are contracts that guarantee a bit more than 1 million baht in case of Loss of Life, Loss of Sight or Total Permanent Disability Plus 100.000 Baht for medical expenses after accidents. They can acrue in either hospitals or private clinics of doctors. 100.000 for each accident.

Have a look at the coverages and the associated costs that are age-dependent. Policy 1 is for a person over 65, Policy 2 for a person over 50. Policy 1 costs 5.600, Policy 2 costs 4.000 per annum. Both are with AIA.
AIA Platinum-over65_1600x1115.jpg
Policy - over 65 - 5.600 Baht
AIA Platinum-over50_1600x1024.jpg
Policy - over 50 - 4.000 Baht
Don't overlook the goodie "Cost of cremation". Bring Your own charcoal.
Please wear suitable clothing when attending a concert in Udon Thani. Slacks and short-sleeved shirts are ok, shorts, tank tops or muscle shirts are not.

BUPA offers PA insurance without the bells and whistles...100,000bt coverage for 2219 (your age group).

If you want a one on one consultation with staff, the Udon BUPA office is upstairs in Big C Nadee near the airport. Open 7 days a week, I think from 10am.

Unfortunately most of these companies will only insure up to age 65 years which is not a lot of use for many residents in Udon.
Should you be looking for a PA policy that will take you to 85 then we can offer a BKI policy but, as with any ‘medical’ type policy, start it early as once there is a problem that may well be excluded.
One further point I note some talking about 100k Baht of medical cover – that is very low and would only last a day or two for a serious accident in the BKK/Udon Hospital. For the sake of a little more premium then a minimum of 200k is more realistic and is not expensive.

There are many variations of benefits/premiums depending on what benefits are important to you, example 200k PA for 1,000 Baht.
May we suggest you email me direct and I can send you differnt options : [email protected]
