The bistro is open for you to try, if you can not wait for the complete menu card to be posted

Looking forward to serve you some fresh, home - made food

Hello, Preben,

Sawitta and I have known you for many years having the highest respect for your integrity and friendship.

We wish you the very best with your new venture; Phoenix Bistro.

You completely refurbished your Bistro location to brand new condition being absolutely spotless throughout.. very refreshing.

Your homemade recipe dishes and breads are wonderful, along with, having your lovely Danish daughter, Julia, at your side to assure all things are in order, at all times.

The new logo is trick and new menu pictures are great, as well.

Wishing you the best, Preben, will be in soon again to visit and try some of your new dishes.

Best of luck, your good friends,
Doc and Sawitta

Hello all...

Dropped in to visit our good friend, Preben, at his, Phoenix Bistro to again try some of his unique and delicious homemade Danish style servings.

'You’ll not find a freezer or microwave' at the, Phoenix Bistro; all breads and pastries are freshly baked each morning. Pasta and sauces, all homemade. Each menu item is individually prepared heated in oven if necessary at time of order. As well, you will experience exceptional attentive service!

This visit we tried the, Mexican Fajitas; the filling of chicken, red peppers and grilled onions were presented at the table in a sizzling hot platter straight out of the oven with sides of tortillas, homemade salsa, sour cream and sliced hot chilies. Absolutely delicious!

Being a big eater topped off Fajitas with, Preben’s, delicious potato soup and a Danish pastry.
All tables are complimented with sea salt and black pepper grinders; nothing but the best at Preben’s, Phoenix Bistro. The overall cleanliness at, Preben’s, is second to none.

Forwarding to, Preben’s, authentic Danish Christmas dinner.
- Roast Pork served with white and brown potato, red cabbage and brown sauce
- Roast duck filled with apples and prunes, served with white and brown potato, red cabbage, Waldorf salad and brown sauce, with traditional Danish “Ris A’Lamande” (Rice pudding), served with cherry sauce.
If interested, better contact for your reservation...

Preben, and his lovely Danish daughter, Julia, are terrific hosts.. maybe you should stop in for a refreshing experience.

Check out, Preben’s, attractive menu on page 1 of this thread.
A variety of alcoholic beverages are available, as well.

Good and honest deserving folks in our business community who at the same time are good friends deserve all the support possible from their good friends. That’s what this post is all about.

Best wishes to all,
Doc & Sawitta

Just visited Phoenix Bistro for the first time. Great location, great food (coffee too) and friendly staff. The prices are also very reasonable. Good atmosphere and a big improvement to what was previously here. The place will do well. =D>

UPDATE: In my opinion, Udon still has a lack of decent places to eat quality western food. Phoenix Bistro has really improved the situation for westerners. It's a convenient and friendly place to satisfy the taste buds and, as a result, I've become a regular.

The food is also healthier (fresher too) than what you will typically get elsewhere and at a lower price point. The owner has a winning formula. If you haven't tried the Danish burger yet then what are you waiting for? (soups are also excellent!)

We finally got some new kitchen staff, but she turned unfortunately out to be much more interested in talking with our customers, than working in the kitchen.

So we are again in the need of some full-time kitchen staff.

Full training will be given.

Payment minimum 500 - 600 THB per day, depending on experience.
