UPDATE: In my opinion, Udon still has a lack of decent places to eat quality western food. Phoenix Bistro has really improved the situation for westerners. It's a convenient and friendly place to satisfy the taste buds and, as a result, I've become a regular.

The food is also healthier (fresher too) than what you will typically get elsewhere and at a lower price point. The owner has a winning formula. If you haven't tried the Danish burger yet then what are you waiting for? (soups are also excellent!)

We finally got some new kitchen staff, but she turned unfortunately out to be much more interested in talking with our customers, than working in the kitchen.

So we are again in the need of some full-time kitchen staff.

Full training will be given.

Payment minimum 500 - 600 THB per day, depending on experience.

Had some time to spare today whislt in Udon and popped in to have a beer and a burger. Very impressed with the renovation which has been done to this place… Lovely and clean looking. Must have cost a fortune to do what he has done in there!
Anyway, food was very good and a bonus because it’s right next door to that Thai food place that the Thais love… It makes it a good watering hole for farangs whilst their wife dines next door/or as I saw today some joining husband in Phoenix restaurant.
I certainly will call in again soon. Now one of the better places in Udon.

Looks good Preben,
Working here in the UAE I am exposed to quite a number of Hommus varieties. Look forward, on my return, at giving your home made Hommus a taste test.
Its actually a healthy meal.
Over here in the middle east I have tried the, roast peppers and chilli variety and also the unusual Beetroot varieties. But usually go back the normal style.
