On a 60days Tourist Visa and like to extend to 90Days

There is no up side waiting until the last minute as you don't lose any time.

All they do is add 30 days to your current permission to stay until stamp.

You can apply for that 30 day extension on either a 15/30 day visa exempt stamp OR a Tourist visa anytime.

That's interesting, thanks.
I was under the impression it was an added 30 days as from when you applied.
Maybe different individuals are getting different outcomes.
I will go in and ask today.

Went in at 08.30 2nd in queue. Processed, payed fee of 2000 bht and out of there at 08.46.
No problems and impressed at efficiency.

only problem with getting a 30 day extension is last time I had a double entry tourist visa, first 60 days then immo for 30 day extention, cross the boarder came back for another 60 days. problem next time when I went for another 30 days they said "no". seems the lady said that I'm only allowed 1 extension per year on tourist visas. not sure as never done it since, but what a pain .stupid me left it till Friday afternoon, ended up having to cross the boarder that day and was stuck in laos till the next Tuesday. but good news is that if you go for the extension a couple of days early they nearly always add the 30 days on to the day your visa is due, went 4 days earlier once, came out ,checked the date and realized I still had 34 days to go. that was handy.
