This pretty much express my opinion...(link below)......frankly, it's turned into a nanny state sh*thole, and I'm a Yank, and would never return. Not sure if it has always been that way, in my short lifetime. I was quite anti-establishment as a youth, then realized if I wanted to retire early, I'd have to conform to some of the silliness.

It was, is and will always be a land of opportunity, you simply have to take advantage of that. In my opinion, those struggling, financially, employment wise..........simply aren't trying hard enough. Efforts will be rewarded.

The ignorance, arrogance and dumbing down of the last and this future generation, should pretty much allow for the USA to collapse under it's own ego.

The biggest numbers of people killed by guns (of course the claim is that guns don't kill people, maybe true, but people with guns do)

The biggest number of mega rich people paying almost no tax.
The biggest consumer of HFCS.

I am an Englishman , my life insurance is not worth killing me for , therefore my statement is as follows:
The reason why America thinks it is great , is because it says it is, and as been peddling that assumption for decades since the World wars, they will eventually be hoisted by their own petard one day ., True an amazing country, But with 300 odd million people they then spend inordinate amounts of money electing second rate politicians to be in charge of what ? A county so immersed in its own ego trip, other countries politely look and secretly laugh, I have many American friends and family but even they despair at the current situation, they cannot all be wrong.
if Good Americans told the truth many would agree, however like the country many delude themselves.

interpret it any way you chose but when you also look at the deaths by police action there, for me there is no way i would be setting foot anywhere near the place.

never been to india so dont really know, asian place that i do have great length of experience with is thailand, whatever else they may do or not do i see thai police as highly efficient in bringing wrong doers into custody. high profiles case they wish to solve, they have suspects for display in days. not encountered this sort of efficiency in other places where i have resided for any length of time.
