There is a fairly new ear/nose/throat-clinic just a little bit north of Wattana hospital.

Re: ear clinic
There's one on the Posri Road that I've used for years, it's just a short walk from immigration and although he's always sorted my ears out (i get infections a lot) and he usually charges about 80 baht it's not the cleanest of places and it's in dire need of a makeover. He's got all the certificates on the wall so i think he's pretty genuine too.
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Re: ear clinic
I started a thread a couple of years ago when I needed my ears syringing. No idea how to provide a link but, the thread is still there (put "ear syringing" into the search box to find it). The Doctor I used appears to be the same one recommended by vincemunday and was also recommended by a couple of others then.
He sorted my issue.

Re: ear clinic
Maaka, Dr. Napapon is an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist and works at the Army Hospital Mon - Fri before noon, then works in the afternoons at Bangkok Hospital Udon. He works out of his own clinic from 7:30 - 8 PM and he has all the latest equipment, the same as he uses at Bangkok Hospital Udon. His personal clinic is brand new and this guy knows what he's doing. I have seen on 4 occasions over the past few years. He's a younger doctor and speaks good English. His fee is only 200 Baht for a visit in his private clinic and he doesn't go overboard in pricing his meds, plus you can always go to your own pharmacy for meds and save money after he gives you the name of the medication....up to you.
If you are headed west of Srisuk Road toward the Police Station, go through the roundabout (first southernmost circle) and look to the immediate left. His clinic is in the last shop in the row of shop houses that border on the roundabout.
His private cell number is 092-602-5656.

Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

I concur with semperfiguy's assessment of Dr. Napapon. I've used his services twice and been quite satisfied. I would certainly go to him again if the need arose.
Re: ear clinic

All useful comments indeed, old threads an all...I am spoilt for choice so it seems..squalor or chic new clinic..
the only up side, is I can turn my blocked ear to the missus,s snoring, and get a rather good nights sleep, albeit with oodles of para....

Re: ear clinic
FYI I paid 960 in Chiang Mai last week for exam and heated suction cleaning at McCormick hospitals ENT Clinic. Not cheap, but well worth it...gets me by for about two years. It makes flying more pleasant. The suction is way better than the flushing, IMO. Talk to your pharmacist, but Thai Zithromax is highly effective on an ear infection.
