Just a thought....
Try any Honda dealer service center if near you. They are not overly expensive. Always have my bikes serviced by Yamaha or Honda

I think you'll find that 'ting-tong' is a 2 stroke fan, not 4 strokes.
Take it to the Honda dealer on the corner of Tungsri Mueang (Big white coloured place with 'HONDA' in red... you can't miss it.

Thanks Stevo
What would be included in a standard type service & will they do it while I wait or is it collect next day?
This is my 1st experience of motorcycle servicing
Would they test drive & suggest any other stuff that might need sorting out or is that an invite for expensive overhaul?!!
Thanks again

They should do what you ask of them, and use Honda genuine parts.
The service will depend on how many Km the bike has done, but basically they'll change the engine oil (there is no cartridge filter on a Wave, it's a centrifugal spinner inside the motor) they should check and adjust the brakes, rear drive chain, replace air filter, they might replace the spark plug too. There's a lot more checks they should do, and make adjustments or replace parts as required... it depends on the mileage done. If you have a handbook, there will be a list in there of what is done on a service, you may find that there is someone there that speaks English if you know what you want. You will be surprised how cheap it is compared to your native country.
