British Citizen Found Dead

Post by parrot » February 20, 2017, 6:55 pm

Not much in the news about this, but a 71 year old British citizen was found dead in his room on 19 Feb just after midnight. The individual's passport can be seen by scrolling down the page.

I haven't seen anything on any of the other Udon news sites about this incident.

Might just be an old passport that he had in a drawer that they found and used as ID ........ up to date one may be in a safe which they hadn't opened at the time ...... just a thought

looking at the pic it could have holes, or even have the corner cut off, as it has all been pixelled out

They cut one corner off the corner of the cover of replaced UK passports.
It is impossible to tell if that is the case in the photo..

Rest in Peace, Ken

I knew Ken... he was a real character with a good sense of humour.
I couldn't give a rat's aris whether the passport pic shown is old, out of date, or whatever.. and neither would Ken; Just the sort of game he would play would be to lock his valid one away and leave an old one lying around.. that was his humour, he had been here a long time and had a lot of Thai friends.
Missed by many, no doubt of that.

no the don't always clip uk passports, I have a fully intact old passport, with plenty of pages left and still 2 years until expiry date . last time I renewed mine I didn't have to send the old one back. not that theres any chance of using it as it's biometric

I knew Ken fairly well also, he used to live at the Englishmans Retreat. He has a daughter in the UK and I've just contacted Glyn as he thinks he may have the daughters contact details, I'm not sure if anyone else here has them.
