I don't know if you remember I am going back to U.K. For 6 months
I have someone who will start the bike at lest every week
So do I need to spray it( not the saddle)with sonax? As was suggested previously when it would be untouched for the 6 months
I've filled tank with Benzine95 twice& it's full
Thanks again

Re: Honda Wave lay up
If you are only going for 6 months you have nothing to worry about, filling with good quality gas is really all you need for that amount of time.vidmaster wrote:I don't know if you remember I am going back to U.K. For 6 months

Hi jai
Thanks for that comforting info
So weekly starts will keep battery working ok and flush some benzine & oil around a bit
It won't be ridden so would that make any difference to your advice?

Re: Honda Wave lay up
That should be fine, if your battery is in good condition you will not have any problems. My wifes Honda wave sat for two and a half years with no starting in that time and it fired right up when she was back last week. We did add fuel stabilizer and had a maitenance charger on it bur that is not necessary for only 6 months.vidmaster wrote:Hi jai
