Hope this doesn't go thru Truly a source of work for the lively hood of many in Bangkok. It is what brings many a tourist to Bangkok to enjoy the street vendors available

At a point in time when Thailand needs to build it seems we are going after the heart of Thailand

The present powers in Thailand are slowly but surely ruining the country, as long as it benefits the rich they don't care.

Years ago BKK Admin had issues with night street vendors blocking the BTS access at siam station. Nightmare.

Nobody was prepared to tackle the issue. Govt authorities all saying its another agencies problem......

15000 eviction notices will see a dent on Tea Money no doubt but the knock on effect could be significant.

every city used to have thriving street food, the west was the first to lose it. regulations, hygiene rules have put paid to most of it. even a simple burger van has health and safety visits, they now have to follow the same rules as any restaurant. the other issue is Bangkok's traffic, people just pulling over to grab a takeaway . but not to worry. Thailand is not about to run out of street food yet

The death of BK as we know it, such a shame, they clearly do not want tourists?
