Some strange scores in the footy last night ... the nights most important result was in the Carabou Cup Scunny progressed with a penalty shoot out win over Notts County ..yippee .

After drawing their first game im hoping the Iron can get on the winning trail where they left off last season .. tuff league this year with the likes of Blackburn etc involved ..fingers crossed come next march we are in the promo mix not the relegation dog fight ..

Nice to see the once great ..Leeds Utd get off to a decent start .. Adhoc , Pan n Niggly on a high ...for the mo ..

From BBC website. This Supposedly is their new way to show football scores ....... WRONGLY ?????
1BBCscoresnew.jpg
Cockfosters win 4 - 4 on pens?

Oadby Town win 3 - 3 ob Pens ??

Badshot Lea win 3 - 3 on pens ???

Has someone changed the pen rules in the FA cup this year whereby you dont actually have to score more than your opponent to win the match or perhaps the BBC shouldn't really be asking for comments about their DOWNGRADED system.

Anyone think they can predict the Premier League results better than Statts?

Indeed there are a few other rather meaningless fixtures Adhoc ..

My sauces in Yorkshire inform me the tention is building in the counties third city , the traffic around Hellend Road is very conjested as the first wippet sprint is set to get under way and with a large number of pikeys in attendance its hard for the police to tell the difference between them and the Leeds fans ... local police chief inspector Abdul Seen Itall Bfor .. they are speaking in a totally different language never heard before and impossible to understand ...and also the gipsies as well !!! , quality and style of dress is the give away at the travelers are very well presented whilst the Leeds fans it appears get dressed in the dark.

Also strange but true i see in an attempt to boost the numbers the mighty Whites are offering FREE admission to all pensioners over the age of 80 ... but must be accompanied by both parents !!!!

Good luck to all ... except Roachdale that is !!

UP THE IRON ..CLARET N BLU ALL WAY THRU ... U 2 CAN BE A SCUNNY FAN its not only for the elite !!!

Not to out done by our near-ish neighbours from the slag heaps,  Leeds United's unbeaten start to the season continues. 3 points on Tuesday against Fulham will do nicely.
PS.
The Whippet racing was well attended, but not quite as well as the almost 33,000 crowd at Elland Road. \:D/
The local police chief, Mustaffa Leek, was almost caught short by the occasion.
