I have a heap of small denomination US Dollars that I would like to change for larger denomination notes.
Anyone know where I can get that done in Udon?

I can only think that either the Bangkok Bank main branch, or one of the gold shops might do it for you.
I would, however, be surprised if there was not some sort of charge involved.
My reason for saying that is that all the main banks will exchange dollars for baht but there is quite a marked difference between the rate paid for low denomination bills & 100s & 50s. So I would not be surprised if they attempted to gain that back in the exchange.

Smaller denomination bills usually have a lower exchange rate than higher denomination bills. Mick is probably going to take a hit exchanging small bills for larger ones. Don't know how big that'll be though.

In my former life as a bank clerk we had somebody at the counter with this same question. I asked my manager what to do and he said the client had to exchange the small bills into local currency at the buying rate first and then buy dollars in larger denominations at the selling rate. Of course the client left without doing a deal.
This was more than 45 years ago and I don’t know if this is still common practice.
