Infants stuff

Post by tamada » September 20, 2017, 3:48 pm

OK! The 3 month-old addition to the tam clan is about to start loading up on all sensors so needs a bit more than listening to the chooks and visiting neighbors goo-goo talk. Looking for one of those play mat thingmabobs with dangly, jingly, rattly bits for starters. Mrs tam saw a half-decent one on her FB for about 1200 baht so I took a quick shuftie at what they had in Robinsons @ Central and prices were exceedingly silly despite the anonymous 20-30% off labels stuck all over the shop.

Are there any smaller baby specialist shops around the city? There's Mothercare next door to Robinsons but that is already off the list. I will also get the lazada scattergun search tool going but if any one knows of a neighborhood baby paraphernalia store or two, it would be handy.

Thanks!
tam

There's a shop at the top end of Aduniadet Rd (near where the orig Bookhouse was when it first opened) looked like it had a fair stock and was targeting very young infants probably newborn up to about 5 yrs old. might be worth a look if you are over that way (Pizza / Massage / swim in Nong Sim etc)

Thanks for the tips chaps, we hit the shop statto pointed out and got a play mat and a stroller. Prices were a tad higher than lazada but way less than Robinsons.

Thanks for the reminder about the one at Tesco Nadee. I knew it was there but never checked their prices. Maybe next time.

I did see some strollers at DoHome the last time I visited but this new, enclosed baby shop will be checked out once I feel up to negotiating the x-roads from hell.
