in a word NO.
Re: WIFI @ udon airport
If you go to the 'new part' there is an Amazon Coffee shop - saw a WiFi sign there yesterday, I think AIS(?)
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

As far as I remember there was free WIFI in the new departures along with free phone charging stations, you had to sign up with some information but it was free.

here is a picture of the free wifi and mobile charging in the new departures. you should be able to get near enough to get a signal
Re: WIFI @ udon airport
I got a really good, strong 4g signal in the airport. I take it your device doesn't have a SIM card if you need wifi?

Re: WIFI @ udon airport
yes i have a sim card , but not a internet contract with DTAC who my cards with . just plane old " pay as you go "
Re: WIFI @ udon airport
Ahh, mines dTac PAYG too but it has internet included which I can then top up separately if I use loads of data. I thought all SIM came with data allowance nowadays. The trouble is, there's just too many packages & configurations. It's all too complicated

Re: WIFI @ udon airport
You can get short term Internet access cards - 7 days for 1 GB is about the shortest I have seen for DTAC.. 229 baht

I am sure that 7/11 do a cheaper package - you just buy a card at 7/11. Not sure who the provider is though..
Might be easier to get the Grab drivers' number when you take the trip to the airport & tell him when you are coming back & that you will ring him from the airport for pickup when you land???

Re: WIFI @ udon airport
I just use the dTac app whenever I want to load some data. It just takes the right amount of money for what I select from the Bangkok Bank

you could pay the 200 thb and get a lift anywhere in udon in the taxi service. It's a flat fee of 200 anywhere in udon.
Not the cheapest option but the easy option, Ask at the counter on the right hand side by the exit
