Sorry to disappoint you Wazza. I would never get or spread the rhetoric that often dribbles from the mouths of the left leaning ABC.

Fox updates, that way the Rugby League and Cricket can be combined to overtake the AFL crowd numbers , LOL

one thing we all agree on, Day 5 tickets unless given away for free, arent worth buying

Chris Woakes took six of the nine Cricket Australia XI wickets to fall on day one of England’s final tour match ahead of next week’s Ashes opener.

Sadly the rest of the bowling & fielding side rather made a hash of it, with dropped catches & inconsistent length.
Mind you those cheating Australian ***** have deliberately prepared pitches for the warm up games that will bear no semblance to what will be prepared for the Tests.. :D

Good ne Bob

The Aussies have been found out again, and naturally the only country to prepare pitches to suit the homeboys.

Ha, ha Barney in England you don't need to fix the pitches - just rely on the weather & fix the toss... :D

I thought this was interesting with the best part being Sir Geoffrey's analysis of himself - particularly as non of his co- commentators put him in their teams!!

Close - England lead Cricket Australia XI by 87 runs with 7 wickets remaining
The hosts out for 250.
Good opening stand between Cook & Stoneman of 172, but I don't think the pitch offered a great deal to the fielding side..
Root, not out 62 & Malan, not out 57 will continue in the morning...

Englands selectors have put out an urgent SOS for anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Alan Knott. Seems that they are desperate to cover all shock moves from the Aussie selectors :-"

" If the Aussies are going to let their keeper use a zimmer frame behind the stumps, that brings Alan Knott back into the reckoning"

Not sure if Monty Python or Barry McKenzie did more for Australian Culture than Hoges,

But Marsh, must be some sort of Trojan Horse that CA havent explained to us the paying public, maybe its their revenge on the consumer to backing the players during the pay dispute,

a case of Som Num Na to the cricketing public, except the Poms , who must be suffering a sever bout of incontinence , or pissing themselves big time

Probably Hoges had most influence, but I remember tears running down my face the first time I heard the Bruce sketch on Python ..... ranked alongside the Canadian mounties in the lumberjack song
