Actor Mario Maurer has been fined 1,000 baht for careless driving, in the wake of Monday's road rage that plunged him into a heated dispute with a taxi driver.

Heartthrob Thai actor Mario Maurer has reached agreement with a taxi driver who used a slingshot to break a side window on his Porsche
during a road-rage incident in Bangkok’s Ratchathewi district.
Nobody was injured in the incident, in Pratunam area on Monday evening.
Talks between Mario, 29, and taxi driver Udon Sutthipon, 37, ended amicably with the actor deciding not to take legal action against the cabbie. The two men shook hands at Phaya Thai police station, Thai media reported on Tuesday.
However, police pressed two counts against Mr Udon - causing damage to property and attempted assault.
