It would be interesting if mat80 ever met up with felixcat.I wonder how the conversation would go ?

Anyway, back to the real world ;)

A big money move from Scunthorpe to Fleetwood.I don't know how this will affect Scunnys promotion chances ? Don't think Paddy has been a regular starter this season ?? :-k

Striker Paddy Madden has joined Fleetwood Town from League One rivals Scunthorpe United on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Fleetwood have not revealed the exact transfer fee but say they have paid a "six-figure sum" for the 27-year-old.
Madden has scored 113 goals in a career which has also seen him play for Carlisle and Yeovil.
The striker scored in the 2013 play-off final to help Yeovil beat Brentford and secure promotion to the Championship.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Sorry Zid, the relevancy of your post eludes me, so I will merely repeat the smilie YOU attached!
However, I admit that felixcat is one of those members whose threads and/or posts I never bother to read, since I concluded long ago, they hold not the slightest of interest for me. I would be even less interested in conversing with him; so now you can stop wondering. =; :-$

Manchester City 2 Bristol City 1
Yeovil Town 2 Forest Green Rovers 0
FC Halifax Town 1 Macclesfield Town 0
Little to cheer regular viewers last night.. :(
A last gasp winner by Aguero took the edge off another fine performance by Bristol. It will be a real uphill task for them to win through now, as Citi carry on being almost impossible to beat this season.
Rovers were never in the game to make it a contest. Down after 3 minutes, they were 2 down by half time.
The Silkmen had thrashed Halifax in the league on New Year's Day but couldn't get the better of them in the Cup, despite being the dominant side..

Clever as usual Statts, =D> but methinks your post needs some editing Statts, thus:
"Felix THINKS God brought Jesus in to be the front man for Christianity; Mat doesn't think about him at all, whereas Zid, Bob, the FA and The Mouth himself, all believe that The Mouth is Jesus, in disguise, and therefore can do no wrong".  :-s :-s \:D/ \:D/

Think we should now finish discussing Zid's uncharacteristic off topic troll, and return to the topic of football by throwing a few more compliments & congratulations the way of Bristol City, who have , arguably, replaced Burnley as the season's surprise team. There is also the small matter of the Chelsea v Arsenal first leg semi tonight, which is expected to start at 3am, and finish at 4.45am; or maybe 5am; or maybe 5.15am; or maybe etc. etc. etc.  ;) ;) \:D/ \:D/ So, while Arsenal are unlikely to surprise, both managers will be hoping the match finishes in time for the players to snatch a few hours rest before the weekend's games.  \:D/ \:D/

Back to league action for much loved teams this weekend. And non loved more than Leeds United.
Saturday sees the mighty whites away at Ipswich. A bounce back 3 points needed. Meanwhile LUFC have signed a couple of new players, but no-one I have heard of.
The Japanese guy, Yamamoto Kendo Nagasaki, (not sure about the name) looks to be a good player from the clips I've seen. Problem is, because of work permit issues he can't play until next season. Something to do with Japan's FIFA ranking. Apparently after the World Cup this is expected to rise, so he will then qualify for a work permit. 8-[
Lets hope so. Anyway: .....

And another new one Adhoc

DE BOCK JOINS LEEDS

Leeds have signed Laurens De Bock from Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old left-back has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Elland Road.
