Re: Active List: Trump Firings, Resignations
OK gents, it's cracking on to about 8:30AM West coast time which means just before lunch in Washington DC.
After Donny T chokes down some Big Macs someone's sure to be whacked. Who will it be?
No way we could get this close to the St Patrick's Day weekend without another sacking, whacking or at the very least a tweet-powered shellacking?
Place your bets folks... I'm thinking David "skulkin'" Shulkin... Sessions "too big" a headline, -need some smoke screen headlines first, like a major shooting (see other UM thread for that ).
Or John Kelly hits the road early!
John Bolton skulking around somewhere chanting in tongues, BBQ'ing midgets, -he'll be in the Cabinet soon enough getting war plans in place.

Re: Active List: Trump Firings, Resignations
US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has (as of today) just become a good candidate to be added to the list.
Rationale - even though he is the US Treasury Secretary, Mnuchin wasn’t able to stop the US Treasury today from slapping sanctions on to a number of Russian entities over the 2016 interference in the US election.
What makes this development especially intriguing is that these entities include a number of those just recently indicted by Mueller.
Additionally Mnuchin has the embarrassment in Davos over the value of the USD hanging over his head; Mnuchin had been applauding a weaker USD only then to be contradicted by Scum 45 favouring a stronger USD (was this a case of the left hand being clueless about what the right hand was doing or was it just another tantrum from Scum 45 because someone else was the centre of attention?).

Re: Active List: Trump Firings, Resignations
Looks like #4 from the list, H.R. McMaster.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... nal&wpmk=1
An who may replace him?
John Bolton.
Why?
"Trump also thinks Bolton, who regularly praises the president on Fox News Channel, is good on television."
Another ringing endorsement if ever one was needed.

How epic, -this list has turned out it's first result. Alas not really worthy of celebration, more like "goodbye civilization".tamada wrote: ↑March 16, 2018, 8:20 amLooks like #4 from the list, H.R. McMaster.

I no longer give Bolton a first name. He's more like an evil protagonist in a Marvel film so we can just call him "Dark Lord". He's no doubt off drinking blood & frying up some kittens somewhere and will "rise" soon once they make him "daylight-proof" again.
I'm wondering who will get the ax next. Actually it's morning in DC right now. The clock is ticking. I keep refreshing drudge report in browser, between it's own self-refreshes. Got the African villager drumming songs playing in the background.
So after wolfing down some McDonald's Hash Browns w/ 6 Egg McMuffins, some Ritalin, and perhaps eating some heads off a few bats or monkeys, The Cheetosassin will soon strike once more.
This time I think someone will have to flee in fear first -so think a resignation by someone, -maybe this VA Chief, David "skulkin'" Shulkin?
I was wrong on yesterday's prediction, so 0 for 1.
After a high profile resignation I think The Cheetosassin will end the day baseball batting the head off a major cabinet member via a "You're Fired" tweet.
Or will it be in reverse, heads batted, then fleeing resignations?
Here's a video of what today's proceedings might look like (cabinet & staff in blue):
and in case you missed it, before we get onto the BONUS STAGE with the firing of SESSIONS or MEULLER here's a nice video previously posted in Vlad's now flagging post:

Re: Will Trump make the Grade.
The US finally hit back with sanctions on the Russian troll farm. Let's see who doesn't show up to play anymore, shall we?
Re: Active List: Trump Firings, Resignations
I think Mnuchin is safe for the time being despite Treasury slapping even more sanctions on the Russians. The difference being this time the White House has very publicly endorsed the idea of Russian complicity in buggering up the 2016 US Presidential election process.
Hey you Trumpeters! Howdya like THAT big, fat nothing burger now???!!!
I guess with the GOP having a serious arsepucker over the mid-term results and the very real possibility of Putin the K i n g Maker easily finding Trumps reverse gear, it makes perfect sense to be able to blame their inevitable losses on Russian online skulduggery. Mind you, if the 18th District of Pennsylvania is anything to go by, in the recent 'special election' (due to the nice-guy Republican incumbent getting caught pressuring his mistress to get an abortion), the US electorate are quite capable of flipping a 20-point Contard lead from 2016 and the Libtards have garnered a seat that they haven't had a sniff at for over 15 years. This DESPITE the ludicrously gerrymandered extents of the 18th district by the incumbents that the state Supreme Court has recently ordered to be redefined. So chances are, come the real mid-terms, this will remain a Democratic gain.
Donald Trump... just a boy, giving it all away.
Y'all want fries with that nothing burger?

I don't take that much interest in politics.....British either, for that matter....but I was reading that as McCabe was fired just a few days short of his 50th birthday he wont now qualify for his pension till he is 57,instead of 50 !
Is that true ? If so,it appears pretty vindictive to me even if you cant stand the guy or his political views.

Get all the facts. Then you'll realize that he should have been fired long before Trump was POTUS. Obama's Justice Department with Holder, Lynch and Comey was the most lawless and corrupt that I can ever recall. Makes Nixon and Watergate look like amateur hour.

But, thats just me..who believes anything I say?

Yes indeed totally vindictive, and that Trump has to do these firings in order to cover for all the resignations.Lone Star wrote: ↑March 18, 2018, 11:53 amGet all the facts. A feeble defense indeed that everyone should be fired for interfering or whatever the excuse is.
Trump has no master plan beyond bully negotiations with foreign & domestic entities, all of which is backfiring. He really does seem like a one term joke.

Those who support them think it's some genius solution. Like we're all too stupid to "get it".
No, we get it alright. We have 3000+ years of history that illustrate exactly how it will go.
Our founding fathers knew all about it, but even they couldn't design our system without the fundamental flaw noted above.
Trump is closely following Silvio Berlusconi's model of Meda-based / Personality-based populism, with the exception his "party" is not the GOP, but rather a "party of himself":
"Bunga bunga" moments that would have taken out any other politician, fall harmlessly by the wayside.
So to those thinking the Mueller investigation, Stormy Daniels, or even the Pee Tape, will have any effect at all, think again.
That said, the exploitation of the Internet cuts both ways. Populist demagogues might have a much shorter shelf life in a world where political antidotes such as the rapid formation of new political strains like "Conservative Democrats" and "Centrist Republicans" can occur, and become decisive forces within months or even weeks. As shown by the notable losses of former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama Roy Moore, and now former Pennsylvania House of Representatives member Rick Saccone. If you look at the political maps, the migrations resemble a huge school of fish dodging a predator, a hundred zip codes, breaking blue, left, fast.
It's become very clear, very fast, that you can viably occupy the middle ground as a conservative democrat who can deal in a respectable and constructive manner with centrist republicans, the deep polarization of hardcore left wing vs hardcore right wing we currently have might dissipate.
It'll have to. We're getting nowhere fast. China by comparison locking in their guy permanently. Putin same.

Populism's longest-running lie. That some rich (rebel elite) guy is gonna take out the entrenched elite on behalf of the "people", because he's supposedly been close enough to know what really goes on, and knows how to go about it. Yeah right.joudon wrote: ↑March 18, 2018, 5:53 pmSome day people will understand why Trump was elected.

They get in by hard core demagoguery:Populism is a political philosophy supporting the rights and power of the people in their struggle against a privileged elite.[1] Critics of populism have described it as a political approach that seeks to disrupt the existing social order by solidifying and mobilizing the animosity of the "commoner" or "the people" against "privileged elites" and the "establishment".[2] Populists can fall anywhere on the traditional left–right political spectrum of politics and often portray both bourgeois capitalists and socialist organizers as unfairly dominating the political sphere.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demagogue
The script for demagogues has not changed much over the last 3,000 years (Athens is 3,400 years old). The difference now is they are "up" on your mobile phone, computer, etc.A demagogue /ˈdɛməɡɒɡ/ (from Greek δημαγωγός, a popular leader, a leader of a mob, from δῆμος, people, populace, the commons + ἀγωγός leading, leader)[1] or rabble-rouser is a leader in a democracy who gains popularity by exploiting prejudice and ignorance among the common people, whipping up the passions of the crowd and shutting down reasoned deliberation.[1][2][3][4] Demagogues overturn established customs of political conduct, or promise or threaten to do so.
Demagogues have appeared in democracies since ancient Athens. They exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, it is possible for the people to give that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.[5] Demagogues have usually advocated immediate, forceful action to address a national crisis while accusing moderate and thoughtful opponents of weakness or disloyalty.
Those who support them think it's some genius solution. Like we're all too stupid to "get it".

Trump is closely following Silvio Berlusconi's model of Meda-based / Personality-based populism, with the exception his "party" is not the GOP, but rather a "party of himself":
Where Berlusconi used television, Trump uses Twitter.Throughout its existence, Berlusconi's party was characterized by a strong reliance on the personal image and charisma of its leader—it has therefore been called a "personality party"[52][53] or Berlusconi's "personal party"[54][55][56]—and the skillful use of media campaigns, especially via television.[57] The party's organisation and ideology depended heavily on its leader. Its appeal to voters was based on Berlusconi's personality more than on its ideology or programme.[58]

What Russia has on Trump
What does Putin have on Trump? Trump behaves like he is Putin's [expletive] at every opportunity. Staff who criticize Putin or Russia get fired.
My guess is it HAS to be something really damning like:
- [ ] Trump screwing children. Perhaps Ivanka lookalikes with audio of him calling her name. There are multiple creepy YouTube recordings of Trump saying he would date Ivanka if she wasn't his daughter. Perhaps little boys.
- [ ] Trump getting plowed by a Black guy. Perhaps his longtime former friend, entertainment, and fashion mogul Russell Simmons. There were rumors Simmons was/is bisexual and that was the reason Kimora divorced Russell. They used to spend a lot of time together. Such a tape would set off his base to the nth degree.
- [ ] Trump in bondage situations. Perhaps even snuffing. That's something a billionaire sicko would travel to Russia to get and something Putin could certainly arrange. It would be totally consistent with his misogynistic behavior.
- [ ] Money laundering proof. The FBI could seize everything, leaving his family destitute.
- [ ] Treason proof. Including his children. We already know Don Jr. and Eric were running point regarding the meetings with Russians during the campaign and transition.
- [ ] All of the above. Russians have been cultivating Trump for decades. Doubtless they have a preponderance of stuff.
