The Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) recently completed a review of 102 utilities across the US. They learned that electric, gas, and water rates have fallen due to the recent tax cuts passed by Republicans in Congress at Trump's urging.

That tax cut package reduced the corporate rate from 35% to 21%. Spokespersons for the utility companies stated specifically that they were able to pass their tax savings on to custmers in the form of lower rates or capping existing rates.

The review of rate reductions took place in states such as Florida, Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, thirty-seven other states, and the District of Columbia.

This all translates to millions of dollars in savings to Americans.

The federal government cut 3,000 jobs in May and federal employment has now dropped by 24,000 since President Donald Trump took office, according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Even as federal government jobs were declining, overall employment was increasing—as was employment in state and local government.

Fewer freeloaders feeding at the trough funded by taxpayers.

Former US ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul summed it up: "If Trump can't negotiate a deal on milk with one of our closest allies, how is he going to get a deal on nuclear disarmament with one of our greatest foes?"
Only hours earlier, Trump had performed his own victory lap in front of the cameras, declaring the summit a success and America's relations with its allies a "10" out of 10.
And faced with a choice between tarnishing his deal-maker credentials and throwing an ally under the bus, Trump's choice was never in doubt.
but my issue is about how poorly they are dressed

For some reason I just can't work up any sympathy for federal employees who will now have to find a productive job. The next step is to force the professional welfare clients to go to work. They can no longer say that they cannot find a job.

Its been about 6 hours since Mr Trump and Mr Kim had their first meeting in Singapore and not a peep really out of the snowflakes. I wonder what sort of ----- they will find at this meeting, they will dream up some sort of crap knocking Mr Trump and even Mr Kim.

Peace on the Korean peninsular may now become a definite reality.

Let’s hope so sport, Trump is doing incredibly well, you have to admire a man who becomes a world leader, makes a whole bunch of promises and sticks to just about every one of them, has this ever happened before? Nobel peace prize? Surely it’s guaranteed?

Just come in, not a bad days work for the two leaders................

Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un have committed to the “complete denuclearisation” of the Korean peninsula in a joint text.

The document signed by both leaders specifies four key agreements between the US and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Here’s what the document said — and a brief explanation of what each point means.

1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the people of the two counties for peace and prosperity.
This serves as an acknowledgement that the US and North Korea are seeking to leave their hostilies behind and move towards peace.

2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.

Until now, the US and South Korea have had an alliance against North Korea and its nuclear regime. This means the US and North Korea will move towards dialogue and pursue an end to their hostile relationship.

3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula.

The Panmunjom Declaration was adopted by North and South Korea during the 2018 inter-Korean Summit in April. It stated that the two sides would agree to work together to end the Korean War and bring about a new era of peace, including denuclearisation. This point serves as a reiteration of that.

4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

The United States and North Korea will work together to identify the remains of American Korean War casualties — a move veterans advocates have been pushing for. Over 7000 American service members from the war remain unaccounted for.

From, news.com.au.....Australia. For myself, No. 4 is very significant for all UN personnel who served in South Korea.

Yes, Laan Yaa Mo, Trudeau miscalculated in a big way.

First, it's kind of ironic that Trudeau's comments about not wanting to be pushed around on trade -- AFTER Trump left the summit (big time cowardice) -- are basically what Trump has been messaging to the rest of the world about the US. That is, the US is no longer going to run deficits year after year and be "the world's piggy bank."

So why is it okay for Trudeau to be angry over an increase in tariffs, but Trump can't be angry over the same thing along with a trade deficit? 55555

Second, before Trump left, he praised the summit and was prepared to sign off on all of their agreements to reduce tariffs, reduce barriers and reduce subsidies. All of those steps were agreed upon by the G7. After Trudeau pulled his stunt -- after Trump left -- it is apparent that Trudeau cannot be trusted. What Trudeau said after the summit is not what he said IN the summit. As a result, Trump withdrew any signing off on the summit result. So it's Trump's fault? 5555 Yes, for the Leftists, it's just like everything used to be Bush's fault. I get it.

Third, US GDP is larger than the other G6 countries COMBINED. If the US doesn't trade at all with them as a result of THEM not wanting to balance trade with free and FAIR trade, it is not likely to hurt the US much at all. The fact that the markets aren't responding -- at all -- is evidence that Trudeau is just blowing it out his a55.

I'll repeat your comment, Laan Yaa Mo.

"Trudeau is clearly out of his depth."

If the G6 wants to trade with the US, they will have to agree to free and fair trade.

So eager to sieze upon a positive event and spin it in some negative way -- THAT ISN'T EVEN CORRECT. So predictable from a kommando member of the Gaggle. 55555

As usual, you prove once again that you don't know much about the US, much less qualifications for unemployment.

1. Those employees who are fired, laid off, let go, not renewed, etc. ARE QUALIFIED for unemployment.

2. Those employees who resign, are not qualified for unemployment. This is almost always the case because they have left of their own volition.

3. MANY of those job reductions were due to attrition. Employees retired. Their jobs weren't filled. No one who retires is eligible for unemployment.

So next time, before you post something idiotic and lacking in truth -- and removing all doubt of your lack of knowledge on the subject -- please do some research. Better luck next time.

If one is on unemployment and does not reapply for benefits the numbers drop and the people that want to use that data do so as they like

Statistics, percentages, numbers etc can be used as one likes There is always 2 ways to look at such data and I presented one

Please note I didn't indicate your demeaner

Once again, food stamp recipients are on the DECLINE. It has reached it's lowest level in 8 years according to the Department of Agriculture. It was at its highest level ever under Obama.

The last time enrollment in the food stamp program reached that level was February 2010, when 39,588,993 people participated in the nation’s food stamp program.

There are 2.2 million fewer people enrolled since Trump took office.

Trump also released an executive order on welfare reform in April that would require the USDA to issue updated rules for those receiving benefits such as food stamps, and invest in workforce development programs.
