Next to the Siam Commercial Bank on Phosri Rd, there's a store that sells a variety of perfume mixes, bottles, jars, AND chemicals.
Sodium lauryl sulfate, texapon, citric acid, berol 226, isopropyl aocohol, polyethylene glycol, synthetic polymer, triethanolamine, beeswax, biocide, optical brighteners, and many many more. Most seem to be related to cosmetics or house cleaners like dish soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, floor cleaners, etc.
For the past few years, my wife has been buying a bag of agents that is mixed at home to make dish soap. One 150 baht bag makes about 15 liters of good quality soap. She jazzes hers up with an herbal mix that will knock out just about any foul smell. There are similar size/priced bags for cleaning vehicles, floors, clothes, etc......all are easy enough to mix and come with instructions (in Thai).
All of the chemicals on sale are in small quantities. From what I see, the prices are very cheap.
Easy to park in SCB's parking area.

Re: Cleaning Chemicals
The photo isn't clear.....a front and side view. The store sells two different types.....one regular formula ชุดทำน้ำยาล้างจาน สูตรถนอนมืิ for 200 Baht, the other heavy duty สูตรขจัดคราบหนัก for 250 Baht. Either bag makes just over 14kg of mix.
