Growing up it was The adventures of Rin Tin TIn, my grandfather had a German Shepherd and I called him naturally Rinnie. Gooooooo Rinnie. Rusty and Biff were the team.
And for a Canadian show and keeping to the same dog theme was The Littlest Hobo.
That's all we needed as a kid.

Re: Favourite US/Canadian comedy/crime TV shows.
Thinking about it, I wonder if it was on AFTER something like Grandstand on a Sat early evening or after a kids programme ..... that would explain why I remember the progs theme tune and nothing else about itstattointhailand wrote: ↑August 6, 2018, 8:00 pmDoesn't seem to ring any bells Sport, but I cant get that bl**dy theme tune out of my head now. Daydreaming again today at lunch and a show popped into my grey matter...had completely forgotten this show.
Loved this show as a kid. Totally futuristic well ahead of time. Has that constant radar ping through the show.
Still the best looking submarine ever. ???
