Groundbreaking took place for a new 500 rai golf course in Phen district. Unfortunately from the photo feed, I can't tell exactly where the course is planned.

Sorry about that.....the golf course is not going to be in Phen. It's to be built off the Sam Prao road, about 8km from the ring road....before you reach the university. On the left hand side as you're heading to the university.

Hi Parrot,
Are you able to provide any information in relation to proposed completion date and the distance to the Golf Course from the airport.

Add another 6 or so km for a total of about 14km from the airport, give or take.

There's a video at the link below that shows preliminary work on the course. From the info available on the web, there's no estimated completion date. 18 holes, 500 rai (200ish acres)

Some more info on the new golf course build.......plan to have 9 holes ready for play in Nov of this year and the full 18 by May of next.
