Mystery woman found dead on hill and buried in coffin marked 'unknown female' may have been 'Thai bride'
Police say the circumstances surrounding the death have "remained suspicious" since she was discovered in 2004
A woman whose body was found in a remote hillside stream 14 years ago, may have been a "Thai bride".
Detectives investigating the unidentified woman's death believe she may have been brought to the UK.
The remains of the woman, who is believed to have been from south-east Asia, were discovered by a group of walkers on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire.
She was found between Pen-y-Ghent and Horton, Ribblesdale, on September 20, 2004.
Cold case reviewers believe she may have been killed and transported to the stream, possibly by a 4x4, North Yorkshire Police said.

'Lady of the Hills' mystery could soon be solved after Thai woman claims body found 15-years ago is her daughter
"According to Joomsri Seekanya, 72, from the Udon Thani region of northern Thailand, she has not heard from Lamduan since 2004, around the same time the body was found.
She also told police that the sketch depicting the woman - dubbed the "Lady of the Hills" - bears a striking resemblance to her daughter.
Mrs Seekanya claims her daughter moved to Britain in the early 1990s after meeting a British man, who was working in Thailand.
She said the couple had two children and used to return to Thailand regularly to visit family.
But she explained that her daughter, who would now be 52, had abruptly ceased contact around 15-years ago and said she feared the remains could be hers"
