That experience has taught me to read more thoroughly. For a thousand baht I had thought that a room would at least have a bathroom. Live and learn.

Heres my 2 cents on hotel booking sites. You are far better to book straight with the hotel, yeah you may have to pay 1 or 2 dollars more sometimes but you will always get a better room, better room location, etc. The booking sites always get the worst rooms... why? I used to be involved with a resort in the Caribbean and we dealt with several of the sites, their commissions are very high and they will attempt to set your prices. Also the sales they have, the owner has to accept even though they are not offering a sale. Funny how I almost always get an upgraded room when I book direct and most times pay the same as the booking sites. I use the booking sites for browsing and then find the properties own website and book directly.

1st Hotel Very Good Friendly Staff & We got an Upgraded Room all for 459 Baht !!!!
2nd Hotel,Pile of SH*T Ignorant & Unfriendly Staff (NO Promised "Free Breakfast") And that was 700 Baht ( They Received a BAD Report from Me on Both Agoda & Tripadvisor )
1st Hotel Very Good Friendly Staff & We got an Upgraded Room all for 459 Baht !!!!
2nd Hotel,Pile of SH*T Ignorant & Unfriendly Staff (NO Promised "Free Breakfast") And that was 700 Baht ( They Received a BAD Report from Me on Both Agoda & Tripadvisor )
