After the glut of shock results over the last three rounds, sanity hardly likely to return, with none of the teams having any realistic targets at which to aim. Also, of course, a large proportion of the players will almost certainly be far more concerned to avoid an injury, ruling them out of the WC, the Champions League match, or the FA Cup final, than the result of a meaningless EPL game. I except CITY from my comments, as I anticipate poor Southampton will be in for a torrid afternoon as the new EPL Champions chase, not only the 100 points total, but opt for a display of all out attacking football, to close out what has proved a memorable season for Guardiola & his team; not to mention football fans the world over, privileged to have watched them. =D> =D>
So, having made my excuses, , here are my predictions:

Burnley v Bournemouth. 2-1. 4 - 1
Palace v WBA...............3-1. 1 - 1
Huddersfield v Arsenal....1-2. 0 - 3
Liverpool v Brighton.......2-1. 2 - 0
Utd. v Watford.............2-2. 5 - 1
Newcastle v Chelsea......2-1. 3 - 3
Southampton v CITY.......0-5. 1 - 4
Swansea v Stoke...........1-1. 0 - 0
Spurs v Leicester..........3-1. 6 - 1
WHU v Everton.............2-2. 3 - 0

No dramatic change at the top or bottom on the last day.
Pool ran out easy winners to deny any Chelsea chance of 4th. spot. Chelsea themselves had another of their off days that probably ended the reign of Antonio Conte. I don't think that he will be too disappointed with that as he seemed to have given up on the support of his bosses long ago.
At the bottom, Swansea went into an early lead to revive hopes of a 9 goal turn around against Southampton. It proved a false dawn however & they couldn't even collect another point.

It will be another interesting season next year with a very large number of new managers entering the fray.
Already it is difficult to look beyond Citi as Champions though. They do have some of their stalwarts to be replaced but have the cash available to get quality & a manager who seems to bring out the best both as individuals & a team...

A decent final day of the season, for a change and I was lucky to view, probably, the most two entertaining matches.
I watched the Liverpool game for the first hour,by which time they were 3-0 up.They played some scintillating, attacking football and should have had more.....a foul on Salah in the area and a handball by Dunk but no penalties given in the first half.
Then I switched over to the Spuds v Leicester game just in time to see mat80's player of the season,Lamela :D ,put Spurs 4-3 ahead.(Leicester had been leading 3-1 just after half time).Vardy the made it 4-4 with 15 minutes to go but just 2 minutes later,Harry Kane, got the winner for Tottenham......exciting stuff, but I doubt if there would be a goalfest like this were it not for being the last game of the season.

No surprises from Everton on the last day.....latest betting odds for their new manager.

Marco Silva 4/5
Arsene Wenger 4/1
Rafa Benitez 10/1
Louis Van Gaal 12/1
Alan Pardew 80/1

Who would be your choice out of them,Alan ? Would a Van Gaal/Pardew partnership tick the right boxes for you ? ;)
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

"KEITA COST CONFIRMED

Naby Keita will cost Liverpool £52.75m after RB Leipzig finished sixth in the Bundesliga.

Liverpool agreed a deal to bring Keita to Anfield at the end of this season during the 2017 summer transfer window, but his price was dependent on Leipzig's final league position.

If they had secured Champions League football for a second successive season the price for Keita would have been £59m.

Had Leipzig dropped into seventh, or lower, they would have seen Keita's price reduced further to £48m. "

Assuming he behaves a lot better next year and is only suspended for 9 or 10 league matches, that still seems an excessive amount ...... once a red always a red ..... card that is

Surprised if Moyes does leave West Ham.I was amazed they took a chance on him but he's done OK and deserves credit for that, imo.

David Moyes: West Ham manager could be set to leave
By Simon Stone BBC Sport
David Moyes could be set to leave West Ham despite guiding the club to Premier League survival.
The Scot met senior Hammers figures on Monday and while a final decision on his future is yet to be made, the indications are the two sides will go their separate ways.
Moyes took over at West Ham in November with the club in the relegation zone.
But the former Manchester United manager has experienced difficulty getting to grips with the club.
He has complained about the amount of leaks to the media and also had to deal with the aftermath of the events of 10 March, when fans ran onto the pitch during a home defeat by Burnley and children went to the Clarets dug-out for safety following widespread protests against the club's hierarchy.
Moyes is credited with getting the best out of £25m forward Marko Arnautovic.
Although the Hammers flirted with relegation after a run of two wins in 12 Premier League games, seven points out of the last nine allowed the club to finish in 13th spot, nine points in front of the drop zone.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.
