After ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE CONSECUTIVE NONSENSICAL POSTS, devoted entirely to two clubs, surely time to give this thread a name more appropriate to fit both the personal needs of posters concerned, and their subject matter =; :-k . I have thought of a number of very fitting names, but dare not suggests them here, for fear of being banned! 8-[ :-" I see the same situation, with the same culprits, applies to the Rumours thread, and the Europeans Cups thread. Since the content of their posts on these two threads are pretty much repetitive, and equally boring, perhaps they could be encouraged to keep them all in this one place. :-k

A new EPL thread 2018-18 could then be started for use by fans seriously interested in the 20 club competition, and FOOTBALL in general, as an entity. In other words the EPL thread could revert to the format which worked so very well, and was so much appreciated by members, for over a decade, before the small tight knit group of new wave of 'comedic wannabees' took total control. Under my suggestion these latter members could continue to have their own private thread, as is now virtually the position, without the necessity to yet again commandeer the 'proper' EPL thread for the 2018-19 season. =D> :D

If only, if only, Everton had been relegated, then the problem would have been solved, or at least inherited by DM. \:D/ \:D/ . Allardyce really is the villain in this case; for, once again, proving he remains one of the best, and most unappreciated, Managers in football. [-X
Mat, I Just thought it was ALL About The BANTER, After all it IS CLOSE Season Now.....

YOU don't have to read the post after all what 747 said it's only BANTER
WoW !! A Kopite & A Bootle Boy Agreeing with A Blue.....
Lol can't work some people out mate bit of banter never hurts anyone when taken in the right context some people are happy with threads like (what did you have for dinner&other silly threads) well each to their own like i said they don't have to read them on that note have a nice evening.

" bit of banter" ? -Yes, ok.
But 105 and likely to be a lot more! Come on, it's more like your own chat box, not that clever with the humour and not a lot of interest to anyone else.

At least posts are being made for members to read or choose to ignore.
Its no good visiting the thread once a week then complaining about whats been posted. If members want to read about different clubs then post about them. It really is that simple

Yes,but that was the same as last season,Alan, when Ronald Koeman said a top 4 place was the aim and you ended up spending 200m of mostly dross, remember ??
Dont get you hopes up too high and just be grateful that the likes of Huddersfield,Cardiff and Watford are in the Premiership which will give you a fighting chance of avoiding relegation ! ;)

Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal for France forward Nabil Fekir.
Talks between the clubs could conclude on Friday about a deal that may amount to 60m euros (£52.75m) - 55m (£48.35m) plus a maximum of 5m (£4.4m) add-ons.
Fekir's proposed arrival would be the latest ambitious statement from the Champions League finalists after the £39m signing of Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco, and with Naby Keita arriving from RB Leipzig in July in a deal worth £52.75m.
The Reds are also considering whether to activate the £12m release clause in Xherdan Shaqiri's contract as he is poised to leave Stoke City following their relegation to the Championship.

Manchester United have signed the "best young full-back in Europe" in Diogo Dalot, says manager Jose Mourinho.
The 19-year-old, who has made seven first-team appearances, has signed a five-year contract after the Red Devils agreed to pay Porto £19m for him.
Dalot has represented Portugal from under-15 to under-21 level and made his Porto debut in October.
"The chance of coming to the biggest club in the world is something I just couldn't turn down," said Dalot. =;
Dalot came through the youth ranks at Porto and played in a 0-0 draw against Liverpool in the Champions League last 16 in March.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

This is the Map's principal thread and is built around differences in opinions. It's rather lively.

Another big season looms for the Toffees, premiership football and Udonmap.

A press release from the BMA has said that they are very worried about the deal, as McDonalds are clearly trying to get these people so depressed by watching Everton that they will become "Binge Eaters" and increase sales at their outlets.

He's just taking a playful and fictitious swipe at the Map's principal football team.
