I'm more worried that we have BOTH predicted the Toon to win despite the fact that Defoe has scored on his last 3 visits to St James in Prem & his next will be his 200th in league comp

Re: Premier League 2017-18
take it you were too busy watching Defoe Stat? Or was it a ploy to drop us further into the mire?
Re: Chris Evans
I have to admit I am puzzled why you posted this here, dezz ? Is it because Chris Evans has been linked with the vacant Everton managerial position or summat ?
Stoke 2 Leicester 2
This turned out to be a very entertaining game.Leicester were probably the better team but Stoke never gave up and finished strongly. Two players who usually catch my eye in EPL games are Gray of Leicester and Shaqiri of Stoke....surprised that none of the bigger clubs have come in for them, although they both ended up being overshadowed in this game by 36 year old super sub Peter Crouch !
Newcastle 0 Bournemouth 1
Newcastle started off like they were going to steamroller Bournemouth but chances went begging and Begovic, the Bournemouth keeper, made some good saves.Second half,Newcastle were very poor and you could just see Bournemouths injury time winner coming.Bournemouth out off the bottom 3 now and should finish comfortably mid table,I think.
Didn't see the Liverpool game as alcohol consumption plus running 3 times around Nong Prajak earlier took their toll before midnight ! I would think Bilic and, also,Tony Pulis are under a fair bit of pressure now though.
Tonights matches are (Thai times)....
Spuds v Palace 7pm
Man Citeh v Arsenal 9.15pm
Chelski v Man United 11.30pm
Everton v Watford 11.30pm
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

"Naby Keita's troubles continue off the field after three red cards in quick succession on it. The Liverpool-bound RB Leipzig midfielder has been issued with a penalty order for falsification of documents - reportedly a driver's licence from Guinea. The 22-year-old will have to pay a six-figure penalty, which could match the €540,000 (£479,740) Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus was fined for driving without a licence previously. (Sport Bild)"

Just off to Quack's to get ticker checked out! Careful Alan, some people out there will think we post only when we win. Not to get carried away after the exposure of Mr. Moshiri's financial exploits, we may get those points deducted.

Re: Premier League 2017-18
Hello,Alan, great to see you have the confidence to post about Everton after all these difficult times....no,I didn't see the game but I'm just reading the report now.....
Wow,I see you are up to 15th that cant be right surely ? were you awarded 6 points for the win or something ?
Aaah,I see you were losing 2-0 and being outplayed then the Watford keeper was nobbled and the substitute goalie made a couple of errors....then Tom Cleverley missed a penalty for Watford.....didn't he play for Everton once ?
Still a wins a win I spose and with the international break coming up you can relax this weekend and not be under pressure.
Elsewhere in the real world of football,readers......
Spuds 1 Palace 0.....I thought Palace were very unlucky not to get something out of the game. They could have led by a couple of goals before Sons winner.....Spuds very lackluster.....Erikson must have had his worst game ever for Tottenham and viewers could have been forgiven for thinking it was Sven Goran Erikkson turning out for the Spuds.
Citeh 3 Arsenal 1.....City should have won by more.....6-1 would have been a fairer reflection of the game.....Wenger having a moan about the penalty but he must know his team were lucky not to be hammered out of sight.
Chelsea 1 United 0.....Chelsea deserved there win and a great header by Morata, although where was the defence ? Lukaku 7 games without a goal now and United are struggling to pose a goal threat.Ensuring a top 4 finish has to be their main aim now and City look to have the title in the bag already.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.
Re: Premier League 2017-18
If I had $5 on them, they'd have lost 2-0. I promise I won't be placing any money on them to try to keep that smile off Zid's face.

RIP Dionatan Teixeira
Former Stoke City defender Dionatan Teixeira has died at the age of 25 from a suspected heart attack.
He joined Stoke in 2014 having had trials at a number of Premier League clubs including Manchester City.
But the Brazilian's time in England was blighted by injury and he made only two substitute appearances for Stoke in three years at the club.
"The thoughts of all at Stoke City are with his family and friends," the club said in statement.
Teixeira was in his native Brazil when he was taken ill and he died on Sunday after a suspected heart attack, according to his current club FC Sheriff, a Moldovan side who are playing in the Europa League this season.
The club, who won the domestic league and cup double last season, added: "He will remain forever in our hearts."

Re: Premier League 2017-18
Moysie as good as said he wanted the Hammers job to Andy Gray & Richard Keyes yesterday.
"I've been there myself; I know what Slaven is going through at the moment. He must be hating it and wanting to get a result as quickly as he can. If it becomes available yes, but at the moment it's not available."
Moyes was less enthused about reports linking him with the Scotland job, however, with the Scot preferring to stick to club management.
Might still be a bit early for Kevin Nolan, but stranger things have 'appened to the 'appy 'ammers

Re: Premier League 2017-18
You have to imagine that if he gets the job & then they get relegated he should be almost unemployable. The only member of the West Ham coaching staff to remain is goalkeeping coach Chris Woods.
David Moyes worked with him at Everton and took him to Man Utd. He left Utd at end of season when Moyes was sacked.
Well until next season when a Premiership club is in/near relegation come early November..
Bilic has not exactly had much luck this season - as is usually the case with managers at the bottom. However his 'points per match' is as good as anyone they have had there in the current owners stint.
