Chelsea 3-1 Newcastle
Newcastle went into the lead (again) but Chelsea dominated the match for the rest of the game.

Everton have a new hero n saviour and now are a top half table club ...FOR NOW . Suprise package thisseason IMO has to be Watford , playing some cracking football ...can see Burnley going into free fall soon as has Huddersfield making it a familair look n all messy at the bottom .

Arsenal 1 Manchester United 3
Some decent games last night but the late one was surely the best.United were 2 goals up in 11 minutes through Valencia and Lingard, due to poor defending by the home side, but after that Arsenal dominated possession and de Gea made some fantastic saves.A superb display of goalkeeping throughout.Lacazette pulled one back for Arsenal just after half time but Lingard grabbed his second midway through the half.Pogba was sent off with 15 minutes to go and will now miss the Manchester derby but this was the only blemish on the day for the visitors.

Elsewhere,Palace now up to 18th and with Huddersfield really struggling now will fancy there chances of survival.
I see Everton are up to 10th :-s have I missed some teams getting points deductions or what ? Is the torment finally over for there two fans in Asia ?
Liverpool thumped Brighton and are now up to 4th......that's 15 goals in there last 4 away matches in all competitions.

Finally spare a thought for the supporters of Fort William in the Highland League and there long journey home, after they were hammered 16-0 by Brora !
It couldn't happen in the English Premiership could it ? Well, tonight Manchester City entertain West Ham at 11pm Thai time......Pep up against the "Moyes magic." :-#
Early kick off is the South coast derby between Bournemouth and Southampton at 8.30pm Thai.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Arsenal Really Did DOMINATE That game......75% Possession And 34 Attempts on goal Mainly saved by the legs of De Gea & The BIG Black Bus parked in front of Goal....United's NEW Formation of 1-9-1 Really worked,See The Gorilla has shaved his Taliban Beard Off also....And Pogba DID Deserve to go That was a delibrate STAMP,I'd ban him for at least 5 Games....

This analysis of the game from Alan Shearer which I think is pretty accurate =;

'Arsenal could not cope' - analysis
Alan Shearer, BBC Match of the Day pundit

It was a magnificent game of football. We have talked about Manchester City going forward but what we saw at times from Manchester United was equally as good.
They were just breaking, too quick and too sharp with their pace and their power. They went after Arsenal, put them under pressure and wanted to get behind their defence, and Arsenal could not cope with their one- or two-touch football.
It was great to watch, and Manchester United were too good and too clever for Arsenal. Superb.

They had come from Fort William and were no doubt, going back THERE

Pleased to help out with the education of the masses, I was waiting for a bite but it came from a different direction had it come from where I expected the weight of the catch may have dragged me into the Manchester Ship Canal. For all those anti V.A.R. people out there have some sympathy for Eddie Howe and Adam Smith as Jon Moss (referee)apologised for making a mistake in NOT awarding a Penalty to the Cherries AND for giving Smith his 5th. booking of season? for simulation which means a one match suspension for the Cherries lad. I watched highlights of THE Bundesliga games where the VAR resulted in a few "goals" being disallowed. It really does work and sends the Punters home happy that the correct decision has been made albeit a tad belatedly.

I'm all for VAR, as many mistakes are being made with referees unable to cope with the pace of the game, with players being ahem 'professional', crowd pressures and, of course, the need to make an immediate decision. The question marks appear to be about who decides when referral should be made (e.g.just the referee,or on appeal by a captain), the play circumstances/scenario when VAR will be used(e.g. only when a goal is allowed/disallowed, or when a booking/sending off is involved) when/how play is stopped for referral (e.g. waiting for the next stoppage in play, or a team kicks the ball out of play), who looks at the video (just the referee or others) and delay in the game.
How are they 'working it' in the Bundesliga?

There,there goodison,what a fuss about nowt,sorry nothing ! :pirate:
Other than being an Everton supporter you come across as being an intelligent man and I hear Udon Rajabaht University are looking for a highly qualified English teacher. That could be you and, maybe, you could have 747man as your classroom assistant when he eventually gets released from the Psychiatric Unit at the Wattana Hospital in Nong Khai ! ;)

Now,my learned friend, maybe you or another intelligent member of the footie forum can answer this question......
If referee Jonathan Moss has apologised to Alan Smith for booking him for diving when it should have been a penalty, why cant the yellow card be rescinded ?
This is 2017 not 1884 ! Bournemouth are punished TWICE when innocent and with the penalty they would have been 2-0 up at half time and could well have won the game....plus Smith gets suspended when he should be able to play the next game.

Blimey Zid, if the Cherries have signed Alan Smith they must be desperate. I'm sure I wrote Adam! That's 2 of the 3 R's you've struggled with. Detention for you young fella-me -lad. However I believe you can get a decent caning in Soi Sampan, might be right up your street, pardon the pun! I agree wholeheartedly ref : the rescinding of the card I'm only going on the Beeb report and Eddie Howe's comments. As for a teaching post at U.R. Uni, terrific thought but I'd struggle in keeping my mind out of the gutter! bad enough watching the Ball Girls at Wimbledon. BIT TOO MUCH iNFO. What?

One for Ernest ........

Spot bet of the week HAS to be Vincent Kompany picking up his 5th booking in the derby.

Not sure how Citeh will cope against the potent Swansea forward line whilst he serves his one match ban though =; :-$

Just noticed Fernandinho is on 4 yellows as well .......... looks like a good chance for a win double :drunk:
