Southampton took the lead in just 3 minutes against Arsenal and looked like hanging onto it until "supersub" Giroud grabbed the equaliser in the 88th minute.
Jurgen Klopp should be the Everton manager ??? Well,he was certainly more effective for them last night than Sam Allardyce.
1.He picked a Liverpool side that you would have expected if they were playing a struggling Championship side in the League Cup.....no Coutinho or Firmino etc.
2.He substituted his best player,Salah, when the score was 1-0.
3.Everytime I see Lovren play he looks like an accident waiting to happen......he didn't disappoint last night.
That said,if Liverpool had taken their chances either side of half time the penalty would have been irrelevant.
City won more comfortably against United than the scoreline suggests although if Edersen wouldn't have saved that shot from Lukaku with his face it would have given United an undeserved draw. All 3 goals were the result of poor defending by Young,Delph and Lukaku of all people !
City now 11 points clear.....the title surely is theres already.....even if they replaced Pep Guardiola with Kevin Keegan ! :D
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

I like commentators Andy Townsend and David Pleat, who talk the game with experience, knowledge and humour. Townsend nailed it last night in saying football can be crazy. Palace has recently played much better, but lost or only drew whilst deserving more, yet last night stole it in the last few minutes, which left Watford wondering how they got nothing. Watford started the game very well, really bossed the first half and although Palace upp’d it second half, Watford still looked comfortable and perhaps likely to add a second. A bad tackle by Van Arnholt which might have been a red, rather than yellow.
A word on Zaha, targeted by Watford fans for ‘history’. Is there a Premier League player with more skill, pace running with the ball? I doubt it. Final ball and hitting the net are different issues. Yes, his constant complaining about supposed rough treatment is annoying, if quite often justified. He’d get more respect if he just got on with it. The stats showed him recently as one of the most fouled player and teams often have to double up players to try and keep him quiet. His skill was a factor in both Palace goals last night. Fortunately, he didn’t show a finger to the visiting fans!

Palace back in the zone...but only on goal difference, as are West Ham now.
Newcastle situation starting to look serious as the others below manage to grab points, if not wins.

At the top, Burnley back down to 6th. - but that does put them a point above the Gunners...

Benitez also needs certainty on the club's future ownership. The Spaniard, not to mention the Magpies' fans, will be praying Staveley's takeover is completed while they still have a chance to do something about their growing relegation fears. Wazza is answering his critic's (including me) in the correct manner, on the field of play. Last night was his 100th. game for The Toffees, after something of a "Sabbatical at Old Trafford.

Looking at the season,so far,I would say that both Swansea and Huddersfield are favourites for the drop then its one more from Stoke,WBA,Newcastle and Brighton.
Palace,Bournemouth and West Ham look a cut above those sides and should keep clear of relegation.
Everton.....no more 0-4,0-3,1-5,1-4 or 2-5 now.....four wins on the bounce and they must be eyeing the 7th place Europa League spot along with Leicester and Burnley.....if they do make it,lets hope they do a bit better than this season ! :D

 Everton back in Europe .... who'd a thought it ....... and without a war

Perhaps they should concentrate on getting their players from Serie A in the next couple of transfer windows ...... they wouldn't surrender in Europe as quick as Everton did this year 8-[
