I read that many of us look at ways to produce power on a somewhat less pollutant way. Solar, wind, tidal etc still are polluters as we need energy and produce waste in the production of materials . We are still making an imprint and polluting

I have only seen once in whatever country I am working or residing reduce consumption, or at least request a reduction. This was Thailand when the gas fields at Myanmar where being shutdown for maintenance work. Large consumers were asked to take action in reducing consumption and from what I saw they did! One example was at Macro shutting off half of their lighting and really I had to look up to notice that they had. I only wish the government had continued to request the reduction.

Hopefully there ae a few of still around that can educate the younger soles in Reducing not only electricity but consumer goods to reduce the imprint we make on our society
