Barney, you are correct and the blues are young and strong, but I will be expecting a cunning plan from big Mal.
Should be very interesting.

I hope Big Mal has a cunning plan, that'll give the Blue's even more chance to win, being that Mal coaches Australia and Kevin Walters Qld.....Blue's by 4...

When you need to know something, the place to ask is the local barber. Had a haircut this morning and Kent on Queen Street who is a staunch qlder, predicted that Qld will not win another SOO game until 2022. A big admission and it was music to my ears.

State of Origin 2 in Ban Dung. RUGBY-Jingjoes AUSSIE BAR- Udon Thani. (Sponsor)

Post by Sport » June 20, 2017, 5:34 pm

I hope this is OK with UM, and will only advertise this game once only.

State of Origin 2 will be shown live at The Tiger Bar in Ban Dung. The bar is run by a Thai lady whose hubby is Gordon an Aussie. The game kicks off about 5pm. So to those Ban Dungians who want to see a real tough game of Rugby League, pop along and have a look. Also I have no interest in this bar.

Thanks, Rob.

All good Waz, NSW gave the Maroons a gift in the 2nd half.....the game. The Blues backed off in the 2nd half, you cannot win if you defend all the time, they should have been attacking and they did'nt. Laurie Daley would have pulled a few heads off their shoulders in the shed after the game.

We will be watching the sky later as some crows attack a mob of hawks.

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I didn't see the game. Was on live here in the UAE at 2pm and replayed at 9 at night. My heads on the pillow by then with 4.30am alarms.
I did see some small highlight replays and the one that cost us big time was Hayne not passing to an unmarked Morris on the wing in the first half. That would have been 20-6 even without the goal going into half time.
But the maroons will always keep coming and a 12 point lead was not enough.
Well done the cane toads and it will be good to take the series in front of your home crowd in game 3. :D

Barney,
Unsure if it is being reported in UAE but Boyd and Thurston out of SOO 3, the only way Thurston will play is if they play him off the bench as a specialist goal kicker as he has had surgery on his shoulder since SOO 2.

Thanks TrekkerT

I had heard about Thurston. But not Boyd.
Any team without Thurston are weakened.
Will be a great final game.
Looking forward to Blues route of Qld on their home turf

TT, Thursto will not be playing SOO 3 and the underground rumours are that Boyd will be playing, probably on the bench and Paul Gallen will get a call up.

Two great fights coming up and we will be watching the first one from Suncorp, Horn and Pacman next Sunday.
