don;t book, avalon is 600 baht if you pay at the desk and more expensive online...

Thanks. The way the Canadian dollar is dropping, it probably won't make much difference what I do.

If I cross the border to stay in Mukdahan, I will have to pay $75 (Canadian) to cross back into Laos the next day and continue my adventures in that country. While I agree the benefit of a lift is worthy of consideration, it is not worth that much money.

Thank you for the tip, it is nice that you are thinking of my comfort. You are a good, caring and all-round decent guy.

I Meant TRY it on youre way back to Bangkok,Unless of course you are flying back from Luang Prabang or Vientianne
