Re: Queenslanders are all a bit quiet this morning, no?

Well deserved win with some first time team selections by the blues that have unearthed great depth for the remainder of the series. Will wounded pride be enough for Qld to take it to a decider in Sydney.

Tamara, the resident Agony Aunt of Udonmap at her vitriolic worst. There are 3 types of people in this world, those who run towards danger to assist others in need, those who refuse to believe danger exists and those who look the other way. There is no doubt in my mind which category best describes ...

Re: Buying a TCL TV?

Hi,
We have a TCL and this morning the TV shut down. After thinking the worse, changed the batteries and back up and running. The TV is less than 12 months old. The TV may be old stock and the batteries (cheap batteries) may have run down while waiting for someone to buy the set. Worth a check

I'm so worried," the nervous patient said as the nurse plumped up his pillows. "Last week, I read about a man who was in the hospital because of heart trouble, and he died of malaria." "Relax," the nurse said smiling. "This is a first-rate hospital. When we treat someone for heart trouble, he dies o...

Tamada, where did l say Declan was the author of the post. Stop nitpicking and resume your duties at the Udon knitting club unless you have something positive to say.

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia

Despite previous LNP governments policies on shrinking debt, the latest budget release IMO leaves very little wriggle room for ALP to create a big enough point of difference in the upcoming federal elections to see them become the government of the day.

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia

Sadly, the ABC has gone the same way as the commercial TV networks in promoting ‘conjecture’ news rather than reporting factual accounts. It is not unreasonable to assume that their motive is to create controversy to make them appear more relevant in the news industry.

Jackspratt enjoy the win, although, if the cats do not salute this year, there is misery around the corner, 16 of Geelong’s list are 30 plus in age in a game that is becoming quicker by the season

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia

Hi Sport, I concur with your views of the extreme political direction that the ABC has taken over the years. Their sphere of influence has wained in regional centres with the advances made in commercial televion stations being available to the regional areas. A really good non political ABC tv show ...

Anthony Hopkins wins best actor ‘The Father’

A brilliant performance by Anthony Hopkins in The Father, noses out Chadwick Boseman’s performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. I wonder how long before the cancel culture including those on the forum claim a foul in the Oscar’s decision.
