Would also consider a long term rental - unfurnished for 15,000 baht per month.

Or make an offer to buy. Pay in Baht, Dollars, Pounds, Gold bars or Rolex Watches, up to you \:D/

Please tell me Udon still has a healthy supply of Yorkshire Tea. I'm not going to dunk my biscuits in any of that foreign muck!

I saw some decent quality ones in Mr. DIY and even had XXL size. Only downside was they were an army camo colour.

Re: The source of the coronvirus??

^ wow good to know. I may have to send my wife on a field trip while I'm locked outside the country. She was a big fan of it too when we lived in Hong Kong although her favourite was another local drink called Blue Girl which I've never seen anywhere else in the world. Sorry we have moved off from C...

Re: The source of the coronvirus??

Depends where your drinking it ;)

Sitting in a Chinese restaurant in the UK on a cold damp day does nothing for me. Same as you mentioned likewise Kingfisher in some fake Indian restaurant.

It tastes damn nice in China, Hong Kong and Macau. The Stout version if a rare treat!

Re: The source of the coronvirus??

Tsing Tao is the best thing to come out of China. Forgot iPhones and all that rubbish. I've often wondered why we don't get Tsing Tao in Thailand? I've never seen it although my wife did say one of the better Chinese restaurants in Udon sells it. When I was a young pup living in Hong Kong I'd have 4...

Re: Domestic air fares may rise by 80%

I've always considered flights from Bangkok to Udon to be very reasonable when you manage to get the 'normal' price. However I've paid almost 5,000 baht one way before during holiday periods to secure the last few seats. Assuming they apply the same variable fares based on how busy the flight is you...

Re: New price 589.000 !!2017 Ford Ranger Double Cab 2.2L XLT 4x2 HR 6AT

I bought a used Mitsu Triton from the seller exactly 3 years ago that he had owned from new. We still have the truck and it has been an excellent buy. The truck had been meticulously maintained and was in excellent condition. I would not hesitate in buying another vehicle from him and if I was in Ud...

Re: Savannakhet by car

I stayed in the casino hotel and it's a dump. 1st room looked into the casino floor! Asked to change to a room that looked outside. Went Monday early and it was a nightmare. Mid week as others said seems to be the time to go. I parked the truck in the secure undercover parking area. 200 baht for 2 d...

Re: Anyone flown their Dog with Thai Smile

I flew 3 dogs(pups) with Nok air last year, Udon-Bangkok. Around 700baht each time. Never a problem. Not sure about Thai Smile though. Good to hear. Could I ask what paperwork if any did you need? Assume you put them in the travel cages and they went into the luggage area of the plane? If not pleas...

Re: Anyone flown their Dog with Thai Smile

Thanks all for your experiences.

I've got a quote from a specialist pet relocation service for the fees from BKK to Doha at 47,000 baht plus 12,000 baht for the medical certificate. Waiting for an additional quote if they collect her in Udon and not Bangkok.

Dog only cost us 1,500 baht

Anyone flown their Dog with Thai Smile

Hi All,

Does anyone have experience with taking their dog on Thai smile from Udon to Bangkok?

Normally most airlines allow dogs to be transported as excess baggage but can't find any info on Thai Smiles policy.

As a back up anyone done the same on any of the Udon to Don Muang flights?

Thanks.

Re: bank loan to buy a house

It used to be possible (5 years ago since I last checked) to get a mortage for your Thai wife with you acting as guarantor if you had a FULL TIME job overseas. The bank would want to see 6 months pay slips plus 6 months bank statements and to get a letter from your employer confirming your years of ...

Re: Lumpini Condo - For Sale

Hi, What floor is it on and which direction is it facing.

Are you able to upload some pictures? If not I'll try and connect via line.

What about the service management fees. How much are they per month or year?

Is the condo in your name (foreigner) of your partner (thai)?

Thanks.
