Re: Immigration Office

Just an update from today's Retirement Extension visit. Knew from a visit on Friday last that there was going to be a penalty cost for not having sufficient funds in early enough to comply (my faulty so no quibbles) In today and front desk staff all quite pleasant and helpful apart from the little ...

Re: Marriage Extension New Rule

Next May I intend to renew on the same basis with a US$ Foreign Currency Fixed Deposit Account. I can't see any reason why this method would not be accepted unless I am cursed to have to sit in front of an officer who has decided to make up his own rules at the time claiming "officer discretion". W...

Mr Trump, the only thing I have in common with him is we both play snooker,
The thing you have in common with the Orange idiot is spreading false twisted information and claiming it to be the truth, then when challenged on it making ad hominem attacks to try to inflate your importance

Plonk!

Re: orange juice just as unhealthy as fizzy drinks

The call for elimination of natural fruit juices as unhealthy drinks seems to conflict with the notion that eating apples and oranges are healthy. Why haven't we been told that we should mechanically rid these fruits of their juices before we consume them. Why aren't grocery stores offering dejuice...

Re: orange juice just as unhealthy as fizzy drinks

I've always said there is no way you can substitute a glass of juice for the actual fruit, no fiber. But also I think a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice is ok once in a while. It is perfectly OK In the exactly the same way (though a little worse) as a glass of any sugar water, coke sprite fanta...

Guilty as charged. =D>

I just detest the Trumpian distortion of truth and blind assumptions that the twisted claims have any relationship with facts

Re: Immigration Office

My Logic was based on the 2008 crash It is not logic, it is fear based assumptions drawing incorrect conclusions from a very different condition. Bad Debt was a big player in the demise of many of them and a similar situation now exists in Thailand. It does not. That situation was caused by lending...

Re: Non Immigrant O or OA Visa

I stand corrected, thanks. Since that reintroduction didn't feature on the 'big forum's' radar, I guess there weren't a lot of momentarily discomfited Danes in the house. No problem. That was where I heard about the resumption, from the oracle himself ubonjoe I haven't heard of any Danes commenting...

Not Children dying in Thailand on teh Roads

https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1101067-more-youngsters-dying-in-road-accidents/ My source quotes "ROAD ACCIDENTS kill more than 17,000 children and teenagers in Thailand every year, the latest statistics show. And most of these fatalities involve motorcycles, Road Safety Policy Foundation’s manag...

NOT Children dying in Thailand on the Roads

17,634 children on average had died annually from road accidents between 2013 and 2017. That's over 48 a DAY That's difficult to believe Hopefully that number will be decreased. How, once again the same solutions are available and only need to be acted on That number is the number of deaths from pe...

Re: Non Immigrant O or OA Visa

To you Mr Sometimewoodworker or anyone with first-hand knowledge. Thanks. There are no reports of any embassy (other then UK, US, Australian and for a short period Danish) stopping issuing the income verification letters so the reasonable assumption is that there is no change for any other embassy....

The Danish embassy has resumed issuing the document.
