Re: Visa Extension

Here is the little bit I have been told. Prior to 2002 women were required to change their name when they were married. After that they had the option. If they chose to change their name, a Name Change Certificate was issued. We went to the Amphur in our attempt to make sure the information was cor...

STWW, with this thread about 2 countries would help if you said which country your chart represents
The chart above your question is world, and it’s really obvious.

Is the chart is not World I post the country or it’s in the picture.

Re: Window Tinting

I prefer a lighter tint, eyes not so good and no way wanting the front window tinting, just a six inch blind will do in the front. Hopefully keep it cool enough to be able to touch the steering wheel . Went out yesterday and had to open all four windows just to cool it down. Unfortunately the car s...

Yesterday was the first day since March 14th that the increase In deaths has dropped into a single digit percentage. This is not good news just less bad.

The Americans are kind of excused because they have Trump who is widely recognized outside the Fox News bubble as a f ... moron. Even if the rest of the American government was awesomely prepared, he'd duff it.

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.

Unfortunately the tracking website is not accurate so the numbers being reported are also suspect. I have definite knowledge of at least one case, possibly more than 1 but certainly 1, that is in Udon Thani province and developed symptoms and was confirmed and hospitalised in the last few days. I ha...

Ole Trumpy's kicking their asses. :D You are correct the USA is about 5 times the population of the U.K. and yes trump has ensured that the USA has in percentage terms more infections, more new infections and an order of magnitude more serious/critical patients Total cases U.S.A. no 1 U.K. no. 8 (U...

Re: U.K. going on lockdown, USA stopping restricting movement. WTF

Britain and the US are not equivalent -- by any stretch. Your elementary, binary comparisons are not valid. UK deaths 4,313, out of 66.4 million citizens is one death per 15,295 people . US deaths 7,146, out of 327.2 million citizens is one death per 45,787 people . The NHS is failing badly . Much ...

You should take a look at Spain, second highest now Wasn't so much the pure numbers I was trying to highlight, vince - more the rate of increase ie the "curve" Having said that, I haven't looked at the curve for the other countries I mentioned. 9ED3CDF3-9858-4271-B80F-256C72EB0F49.jpeg 5F305FEB-257...

Things looking grim in the UK -- expect the anti-Trump rhetoric to ratchet-up. Thinks looking a lot worse in the USA - expect the pro-Trump rhetoric to rat shiit up. ;) E3E02E6B-807B-49AB-A493-B4BC42489775.jpeg 426A4042-FDFC-434C-8FE2-CB357ECCAAA4.jpeg 402E7F98-E0AF-4AAE-AD3C-67EDE26A7FA8.jpeg

Bought three liquid soap dispensers to grace the laundry tub and the two bathroom wash basins - that was the easy part; finding liquid soap isn't. What I bought turned out to be shower gel, and is too thick to come out of the small rubber nozzle. Best send the missus on this job. It is easy to find...

You should take a look at Spain, second highest now Of large developed countries Spain and Italy have the highest deaths per million (251 & 243) and are probably having to decide who to let die because they don’t have the staff or equipment. It’s is an even more sobering thought that the supposed m...
