Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight

I don't think that photo is a good look for Boris. Parents should think twice about sending kids to Eton if that's how old Etonians behave.

"Bullman" doesn't seem to be a Norwegian name. Too many riff raff staying in 5 star hotels these days.

Re: 2019 AFL Season

Good question. At first I thought cash but perhaps Eddie had been storing bits and pieces for Tony Mokbel and was wanting to dump some of Mokbel's leftovers.

I'm very keen for the Bulldogs to win today. The Tigers - Lions game is a biggie too.

When I read the reported parts of Justice Weinburg's 203 page dissenting judgment, my concerns about the conviction increase.

The randy Duke of York's previous fondness for hanging out with Epstein isn't looking too flash.

Re: 2019 AFL Season

I managed to watch all 4 quarters of the Collingwood - Essendon game. Neither side should be going far into September. There are some really interesting games this weekend. It's kind of like the first week of finals.

Re: Cardinal George Pell

Quite a few of those executed in these red neck wonderlands probably weren't even guilty of the offences charged. As for Pell, a man I detest, I still have some doubts about whether he is guilty. I'm glad I wasn't on the jury. I note he had first rate legal representation so he hasn't been railroade...

Re: Cardinal George Pell

I think Pell is unlikely to reoffend at his age. He isn't a danger to community. Even if Victoria was uncivilised and still hanging criminals, I don't think Pell would warrant hanging. My 50 cents worth.

What a moron. And what a moron on cancelling his visit to Denmark. He's very sensitive for a politician.

$1,500 a year.

Trump hasn't got the balls to go that high for long in 2020. The Chinese know it. I think Trump will have pissed the Chinese off enough that they'll be campaigning for the Democrats. Putin, Jong-un, Bone Saw, Netanyahu and Johnson are probably on Team Trump.

Re: Cardinal George Pell

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we'll hear the outcome of Pell's appeal to the Victorian Court of Appeal. The appeal decision will be live streamed on the Supreme Court of Victoria’s website from 9.30am (AEST) on Wednesday. Udonites would need to be early risers to catch that.

Re: U.S. Politics

$831 per household is quite a whack. This is nuts when the US is running a huge government deficit and only fairly recently cut taxes on wealthy households. Trump and the US economy aren't well placed to cope with a recession.
