Re: Chinese exploitation of girls and women

No, we bloody don't. :D

The Map's still only slowly getting its old legs back. Things were pretty wobbly there for a while.

Re: Australian federal politics

I'm enjoying the post-election analysis. The Washington Post had a number of opinion pieces about the Australian election. The impression I have is that the Libs have been hopeless in recent years at dealing with the Senate. Hopefully Morrison can now find the right people, presumably a new team, to...

Re: orange juice just as unhealthy as fizzy drinks

I do not take any notice of all these so called experts, eat and drink what you enjoy and makes you happy. Some diabetics do this and their poor diet results in them having limbs or other parts of their body amputated. Some people with say cardio-vascular disease eat themselves into a premature dea...

Why are these grown, adult men always referred to as "lads" when they do something incredibly stupid (which is often) ?
Many an adult man becomes a lad who fancies himself when he hits Thailand.

From the link they seem to have been right drongos full of booze: "But the boat’s captain, Chaktham Jaijong, 23, claims he made repeated warnings for the group, of four lads and one woman, not to sit on the bow without life jackets - which he says they ignored. Chaktham said the group - which he all...

Apparently I ought to get out more but that kind of post isn't encouraging. It makes a beer in front of the telly or the laptop seem quite appealing.

Re: Australian federal politics

I enjoy Aussie politics. It's entertaining. I bought a secondhand copy of Julia Gillard's autobiography yesterday. Perhaps in 10 years I will buy Morrison's. I don't buy into the idea that one side gets most things wrong and the other gets most things right. It's childish calling a party such as the...

Yes, mongers in Bangkok and Pattaya better get stuck in before the fun times get even more expensive. I don't think we'll see lady bowls of Coco pops in Udon for a while.

Good call then to raise it. It probably got missed because of the Map's fixation with President Trump. That seems to have passed for now.

Humans are anatomical, biological and physiological frugivores (animals that feeds mainly on fruit) although we don't now behave as frugivores.

Re: Australian federal politics

Well, that was a bit of a surprise. Well done to Morrison. It's a shame that in future oppositions are less likely to say much about what they might do. :( I'm delighted Abbott's gone but I thought his concession speech suggested he wants to return. Hopefully the Liberals will be more united without...

and every1 a " Darwin award " winner ... What a nasty, and exceedingly dumb, comment. :-# but completely true if your that stupid , you should NEVER breed . Posters don't usually go that far when pointing the finger at American gun laws. Do you also think Americans should NEVER breed?
