Re: Jobs for young Thai people

"Recently, I've been hearing more and more reports of young graduates finding it difficult to get a job. Some have been forced to rely on their parents for financial support, or else take a master's degree just to keep them busy. This not a good sign for the Thai economy or job prospects for young p...

Re: Housing Estate Maintenance Fees

I heard some years ago one of our neighbours paid to get a street light fixed or even installed. I'm not sure if we chipped in. If I had been asked I would have said yes. I'm going to look into whether we have some outstanding fees. I now expect we might. I'll be cursing if it's 20,000 baht or somet...

It seems to me as if the FBI should start a criminal investigation into Pompeo's handling of this Ukraine mess. Hopefully on this one there's nothing in the American constitution that prohibits a bit of justice riding into town.

Just as well Richard Nixon didn't have some drama queens such as Fox News batting for him.

Re: Jobs for young Thai people

My oldest step-daughter chucked in a good job in Bangkok to help care for her grandmother (who I mentioned earlier) for a few months on the family farm. I wasn't happy as I was concerned how easily she would find another good job. I'd arbitrarily say "good" is over 35,000 baht a month. In the past s...

10,000 kms. As jai yen yen says, Stickman covers way more than just the bars. It would be a bit of a yawn for me if he was just writing about the bars.

Re: Jobs for young Thai people

Quite a few Thais seem to me to be in paid work more than 5 days a week. In other words, they need or are required to work Saturdays too. They also look after the elderly in their own homes. This can be very onerous. My 93 year old mother-in-law broke her hip and leg earlier this year. It looked lik...

The New Zealand Blood Service also doesn't accept blood donations from people who have lived in the United Kingdom, France or the Republic of Ireland between 1980 and 1996 for a cumulative 6 months or more. This ban might be widespread in developed countries. I have a now 12 year old step-grandson w...

Is there some video somewhere of what he did? The link didn't seem to have it. I started watching something on youtube but then realized the video wasn't it.

What’s the difference between anal and oral sex?

Oral sex makes your day. Anal makes your hole weak.

Hopefully the scroat is caught quickly. Possibly a meth-head.

There's an interesting video in the link. I suppose the female cashiers responded as their employer instructed.

It seems a smart move by Farage.

I doubt the EU's patience would run for 11 years. I predict they'll throw the UK out next year unless there's a chance the UK might decide not to leave. It's not just Brits who are tiring of the gridlock in Westminster.

Yes, I haven't forgotten he once had a piece of coal with him in the Aussie parliament. The Deputy PM is perhaps even more of a dinosaur on climate issues.

The language used with the current fire dangers in Oz is really frightening.
