Re: Another Country Grounds The 737-MAX

This comment may be interesting. "If you’ve got some 737 pilot acquaintances, please share what they’ve said. Believe me I have done that... repeatedly, and been shouted down repeatedly. Let me paraphrase one more time... The 737 MAX vertical stabilizer trim system was altered and this should have b...

Re: U.S. Politics

The following comment struck me as particularly descriptive of the Progressive political mindset. "Vote Scamming has been an issue since Lincoln's time, and before. It's all about the mindset. The Clintons were the epitome of "The ends justify the means." The more such a paradigm is used, the deeper...

Re: Capitalism vs Socialism

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.” ― Margaret Thatcher That doesn't fully describe the situation. The U.S. government has spent all the taxpayer's money and then saddled the U.S. citizens with an additional twenty-two trillion dollar and growing deb...

Re: Capitalism vs Socialism

It might lack interest due to the ambiguity of the meaning of these terms. I believe that Marx coined the term capitalism as a pejorative or disparaging label for free enterprise. A comparison of the free enterprise system to socialism would be more apt. But the general understanding of the meaning ...

Re: U.S. Politics

It is my opinion that President Trump will never engage in war with Iran. He will very likely substantially withdraw U.S. troops and other military resources from Afghanistan during his present term in office. To do otherwise would harm Americans and others.

I find that articles such as the following are generally informative and worth the effort to read. Maybe they are boring as they seem to be produced by intellectuals for the consumption of intellectuals. The possession of an extensive education makes them more palatable. Young Americans Prefer Socia...

The tens of millions of the poor, ignorant, sickly illegals that each year come flooding into the western nations to enjoy all the advantages of free food, education, housing, medical services, clothing, and other will definitely have an easier and better life.

Re: coastal towns will have to be abandoned

I would not worry too much about sea levels, instead what is going to happen to the working people in 50 or 60 years when robots and computers take over. Massive amounts of unemployed and governments with no tax revenue to support them. This is a much greater issue for the future. Robots and comput...

This premise of overcharging because of color strikes me as non-logical and nonsense. They are overcharging or high-pricing because those overcharged ARE Not Thai citizens. Am I wrong?

The Bloated Orange Bloviator's recent view on "free speech": From 11 July 2019 “See, I don’t think that the mainstream media is free speech either because it’s so crooked. It’s so dishonest. Re: Dual-pricing for foreigners now legal at Thai public hospitals

While I interpret this to be a state ruling instituting a practice of price fixing, it seems a bit vague to me. Does it mean that public hospitals MUST charge varying fees as described or that they MAY choose to charge so at their discretion? And are all hospitals "public hospitals" or are some priv...
