Re: Drill Bit Sharpening Service or Jig to do same

From my experience, it does'nt matter how much you pay for a drill bit at some stage it will get blunt, industrial, professionals dont use cheap tools, hence the need to resharpen. As i have said before a competant engineer, tool fitter etc would know how to resharpen a drill bit without a Jig and t...

Re: Drill Bit Sharpening Service or Jig to do same

Back in the good ole days drill bit sharpening was a skill and no such thing as a Jig, I recall spending hours practicing the art with just a Bench Grinder and my fingers as part of my apprenticeship training, Its all down to the angle of address and the rolling of the bit in yer fingers, the larger...

Re: Drill Bit Sharpening Service or Jig to do same

Thank you gents, mostly UK purchased, time l sorted them out or got rid of. Those bought over here from Toolpro, Global etc not had any problems, they usually get blunted by my careless use, not down to poor quality, maybe if i was drilling into proper steel lt might be a different story.

Now why did'nt l think of that, cheap too, maybe Global, Toolpro, some clever people out there, could have saved a forture over the years.
Thank you Mr Clock Watcher

Re: RECESSION?

Not sure if its relevant or i just got lucky, arrived swampy two weeks ago for one of my bi-anual 90 day trips, the first time for many years that i only had a 10min wait at immigration, looked around me and not a chinky in sight. In the past i have sometimes had to join the queue at the bottom of t...

Its pretty obvious to me, its a plinth for the beer bar, and when complete and fully stocked Johns gonna invite all of Udonmap forumites around for the house warming party. And on that day there will be a special prize awarded to the person that correctly identified the bogus sandpit.

Maybe l got it wrong, but l thought this election was ALL about Brexit, l hope Boris and co keep throwing a spanner in the works just to screw up that arrogant bitch's ambition to be queen of the Scots, just as she has done to the English for the past 3 years.

Surely once an email has been composed and sent the host, Gmail, Hotmail etc do what they like with the info contained within including passing your info onto third parties with a relevant interest on info contained within that email. Re: Isaan red clothes...

I have had the same problem over the years, l put it down to the water the clothes are washed in, the red (brown) dirt staining whether from the Well or Village is evident in all our tanks and pipes.
Whole house Filter definitely helps. I don't buy white clothing any more.

We had Trump Phobia, now we have Boris Phobia, how some people can get emotionally upset over a politician is beyond me.

Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight

Billa Just a wee update from a Scottish newspaper dated last night UK time. A survey commissioned by pro-UK campaigners Scotland in Union found 59 per cent would vote to “ remain ” in the UK. Just goes to show how a poll can be slanted towards whatever the pollsters want. The SNP poll a couple of w...
