Re: Conspiracy theorists

IMO, for what its worth, Climate Change Activists should concentrate their efforts on the real offenders, China, USA, India, Russia, Japan, and Africa ?
Good luck with that!

Re: Air pollution in Udon

Well not much change out here in Kut Chap, burning stuff on a daily basis, Sugar Cane and Rice Stubble burning still practiced on a large scale despite many warnings from our Puyaban. Our neighbour lights up daily with plenty of smoke to keep the mozzies away from his Live Stock, fortunately they ar...

Well, its been over year now and apart from the odd Lone Ranger no problem with the Ants. Unlike before I now kill on sight and hope the message gets back to the Boss. I have this theory that the Lone Rangers are scouts looking for a new place to Nest, when they don't return to the Boss the powers t...

As far as I am concerned 'Best Burgers' is an oxymoron.
Yeh, agree with that, and Sausages, Hoof, Horn, Ears and Lips, sometimes needs must.

Re: Future energy sources?

Good info Barney, maybe something for me in the future. I've not really gone out of my way to achieve my frugal outgoings, circumstances have evolved into what I have now, I have got used to no A/C, nearly 20years without, but I have to admit I was tempted last year, I'm not minted but still manage ...

Re: Future energy sources?

For me, amongst many things, Cost of Utilities is part of the attraction and why Thailand is a great place to retire too. Utilities, Electric, Gas and Water are very cheap. My Electric bill is usually around 700bht a month. No Aircon, House faces North with no windows on the South, 2 Story, Tin Roof...

Good for me, living in Kut Chap, Na Dee BigC and Lotus produce very poor, expensive and unavailable compared with 3 - 4 years ago.
I managed to find all that I used buy from the original Makro.

I'm a Solar Fan, however at this moment in time we find that many companies in the Ener...

Did anyone else find it a bit difficult, owing to the strange spelling, what either of these last two posts struggled to say? Who, for instance, is Marco agodo? And what does 'But spreading techolgies the same process is plane nuts' actually mean, Whistler? Beer Goggles, Dyslexia? It's catching, No?
