Aluminum Kitchen Cabinets and Granite Counter tops

The aluminium will last indefinitely, but the biggest risk is damage through abuse as structural sizes are a little thin. They shouldn't be cleaned until shiny - the dull grey surface is a layer of hard oxide that protects from corrosion. Salt and strong acid can cause corrosion. Copper water pipes ...

UK VISA FOR THAI GIRLFRIEND

One very important aspect. make sure that you state good reasons why your girlfriend can only visit for a maximum of one month, and why she must be back in Thailand after that e.g. this is the maximum time she can have leave from her job etc, and her career is very important to her. In the research ...

Will the ARMY step in again

A big problem is both sides take a narrow parochial view, and a very short term view at that. The developments in Myanmar could mean a very rapid growth in rice for export. A stable democratic government their could mean a quick return of migrant workers, depriving Thai farming of a cheap labour for...

Anonymous untraceable web based emails

As others have said, anything email related is not secure. Even if messages cannot be read because encrypted, the network of connections are very useful to security forces. Any Shops that work on Logic Boards?

Electronics with discrete components on simple circuit boards can be fixed by replacing capacitors, but most computer boards use surface mounted components and these are virtually impossible to replace by hand. Where you have a mix of the two there is often not room to wield a soldering iron and ext...

Tips for airport arriving passengers

Skytrain is easy. have some change for the automatic ticket machine. You cannot beat it if your destination is close to a station. Going from UK to Udon, book through with Thai Air, still need to collect luggage, but had an escort through VIP immigration desk to bypass queues. If you want a cheap ba...

getting website recognised by google search

The basic rules are quite simple, but sometimes outside your control. (I teach this as part of technology courses at university level) I am assuming that your site is .khonkaengolf. There are two separate problems. One is getting the search engines to index your site in the first place. The second i...

Solar Storm Warnigs ???????????

Coronal mass ejections from the sun are millions of tonnes of hot electrically charged plasma thrown out from the sun at high speed. They are thrown out from areas of sunspot activity. If they happen to hit the earth we are partly protected by the electrical fields round the earth, but the electroni...

Why is'nt the pound getting stronger against the baht?

I wouldn't write off the UK and the pound just yet. The UK economy is in better shape than the newspapers would have you believe. The government is trying to devalue the pound using quantitative easing (printing more money) but it is competition with other currencies doing the same. Quantitative eas...

1 less direct carrier LHR to BKK

Don't think the OP's information is correct.
You can book direct flights with BA, Eva, Quantas, and Thai in summer 2012
prices with BA are particularly good for direct flights at the moment, especially for a single ticket Bangkok to London

Wind Energy

If the purpose is to oxygenate the water, then forget the technology. Get water plants growing in your pond, that grow submerged, and release oxygen directly into the water. Fewer fish per pond + weeds will probably be more cost effective than windmills or solar.

what has my wife got me into ? she bought some land

If the aunt would rather the land stays in the family for 200,000 that sounds like a perfectly normal Thai transaction in a Thai family to me. I would support your wife, help her check that everything is done legally, the mortgage is paid off and she has vacant possession of the land. I would treat ...
